Tanners P.O.V

She comes out of her front door looking as beautiful as always, but tonight she looks gorgeous unbelievably gorgeous. Her eyes finally meet mine as she catches me staring.

Stop staring Tanner she's gonna make a smart-ass, comment stop staring you idiot.

The voice in my head says, but I just can't take my eyes off her, and to my suprise she smiles and her cheeks flush a bright pink as she looks down at the ground while walking towards us. You can tell she's trying to hide it.

One minute she likes me, the next she doesn't. I really don't understand it.

I'm literally chasing this girl, I want her.

Gah, she just hits that weak spot in me. The goopy, hopeless romantic part of me that no one else can, I'm so grateful to spend a night with a girl like her.

Stella's P.O.V

"You look amazing." He says as he smiles.

"Thank you." I respond, trying to hide the color that's appearing in my cheeks.

"Come on, lets go I want to be close to the front of the line." Emily calls after us as she and Tyler get in the car with Lacy and Jake.

"Woah, there's a lot of people Em," I say as we walk to get in line.

"Duh, its the scariest haunted house in Florida, and the second scariest in the U.S." She says skipping towards the line,

"Em! You failed to mention that part!"

"I know cause I knew you wouldn't come if I did!" She says, slipping to the back of the line.

"I'm not going in." I say, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yes you are, you'll be fine, besides you have Tanner." She says, gesturing to Tanner beside me.

"Your point is?" I question.

"Stel, just please go in with us." Jacey pleads.

'You know I hate stuff like this its like my worst nightmare come true." I say, turning away from her.

I really hate haunted houses or anything scary thing period.

I guess you can call me a wimp.

"Stella, you have no choice you're already in line and you can't get out." Emily says looking at me, annoyance clear in her voice.

"Emily Campberry, Im not going in." I say, sternly.

"She's going in." Tanner says, as he looks from Emily and down to me.

"Don't start with me Lively." I say angrily pointing a finger in his face.

"You have no choice." He says pushing my finger out of his face.

Just as I'm about to throw a comeback at him with something, we are shoved into the haunted house. I quickly wrap around Tanner's arm, seeing the smirk appear on his face as he glances at me,

"Don't get any ideas Lively." I say giving him a stern look.

"Don't get your panties in a twist, I'm not going too."

I roll my eyes, loosing my grip on his arm.

"Could you not be a smartass for once?"

"You mean like you?" He bites back.

We dodge a clown as it reaches it's hand out of the wall for us and I tighten my grip on Tanner's arm again.

"You give me a headache." I mumble, dodging a skeleton hand hanging from the ceiling.
