"Stella!" Someone yells and then I feel a bunch of weight land on my body.

I let out a groan as I struggle to push them off,

"Stella time to get up we have a long day ahead of us!"

I remember that voice all to well.

"Emily I can't breath." I manage to say in between struggles.

She quickly gets off of me and lays down next to me.

"Wouldn't wanna kill my best friend when I need her opinion and help." She says, smiling at me.

I smile back at her, "For?"

"Meeting Tyler's parents tomorrow. Need your opinion on a outfit." She says, looking up at the ceiling.

"Gotcha."

I roll over sending Tanner a quick good morning text and then crawl out of bed and head into to the bathroom.

I do all my business and let my hair out of its messy bun, I put some moose in it, fix it up and make it presentable.

I put on some denim skinny jeans and a black v-neck with my white converse.

I put on some mascara and Chapstick.

"Where are we going first?" I ask, looking at her through the mirror as I apply my Chapstick.

"Breakfast." She answers simply, as she continues to text away on her phone.

I grab my purse, keys, phone and say goodbye to my aunt before we walk out of the door.

Emily gets in the driver side of her car and I get in the passenger side.

A few minutes later we pull into IHop.
We are seated at a booth by the window, Emily sits across from me.

We order two coffees with creamer and pancakes.

"So, how did it go last night?" Emily ask.

"Very well, him and my uncle actually talked a lot."

"About?"

"School, college, work." I say.

"Oh, well that's good. Anything else?"

"Maybe a three minute makeout session in his car." I say quietly.

She gasp, "Stella had a makeout session right outside her house." She says with a smirk.

"Not necessarily right outside, in the car." I say, looking out of the window.

"Did you, you know?" She ask, leaning her chin in her hands that were holding up by her elbows set on the table.

"Oh no. Just teasing." I mumble.

"Stel!" She laughs.

The waiter shows up with our food and coffee. I say a thank you before he walks away and I dig into my pancakes.

"So, how was your date with Tyler?" I ask, cutting up more of my pancake.

"Amazing." She says, pouring creamer in her coffee.

"Where was the surprise destination?"
