Chapter 30

4 Months Later

"Yeah those are cute." I say to Emily, as she shows me the shoes she wants to buy.

"Aren't they just gorgeous!" She squeals.

I roll my eyes, "Shoe fanatic." I say, with a chuckle.

She hits my arm.

We are currently sitting in Panera finishing off our food and talking.

"Can you believe graduations in two weeks?" She ask, getting up.

"God, times gone by fast," I say, also getting up.

"It's gonna be sad not seeing you everyday." She says, with a pouty lip as she pushes open the exit door.

"I know so depressing," I say sarcastically as she hits my arm again.

I chuckle, sipping on my lemonade.

We get in the car and buckle up as she pulls out of the parking lot.

"So what's Tyler gonna do?" I ask.

"Well I'm going to NYC of course to college there for fashion, and he wants to go to Chicago with Tanner so, we'll have to work with long distance." She says.

I nod my head, "I can't do that, it's too hard."

"You're gonna have to." She says.

"I know I know."

"It'll work out," she says.

I smile back at her.

"So, are you doing cheer in college?" I ask.

"Yeah, maybe I'll get to be captain for once." She says, looking at me.

I laugh.

"What about you?" She ask.

"I decided not to, I rather focus on school."

"Fair enough." She says.

We pull into the hospital parking lot, going inside and getting on the elevator to the fifth floor.

"Man by time Tanner wakes up, he'll have enough beauty sleep to last him a life time." She says, sarcastically.

I chuckle.

"Yeah, hopefully he wakes up in time for college." I say.

"Hopefully. I couldn't live without my boyfriend for four months." She says.

"Oh trust me, it's not easy."

"I bet not."

We both laugh.

"You just have to stay positive." I say.

"Well I give it to you Stel your pretty strong."

"Yeah I guess."

She smiles at me, as we walk into Tanners room.

"Hey babe." Tyler says to Emily.

She smiles walking up to him hugging him, and gives him a kiss.

I walk over to the side of Tanners bed, sitting in the chair.

"How's he been?" I ask Tyler.

"Oh you know restless." He jokes.

We all laugh.

I push some hair out of his face.

"When he wakes up we have to take him to get a haircut." I say.

We all laugh again.

Tanners getting better, all his bruises have faded he has some scars. They took the oxygen tube off him awhile back so, he's been breathing on his own. Overall he's making progress.

I kiss his forehead and grab his hand.

"We also have to get him some real food instead of all this fluid stuff." Emily says, flapping her hand at the I.V's.

I chuckle, "The first thing I would want is a Big Mac and some fries." I say.

"I couldn't go four months without food." Tyler says.

"Well you'd be asleep so you wouldn't know." Emily says, looking at him.

"Well I'd be dreaming about it." He jokes.

I chuckle turning my attention back to Tanner.

I furrow my brows in confusion, "That's wierd," I say.

"What?" Emily ask.

"I swear I just,-" I start to say.

"Tanner?"
