The abused wolf

Chapter 2

Nathaniel's POV
After meeting Amara yesterday I couldn't get her off of my mind she's just so innocent and pure the way you hope your mate would stay but the way her pack treat her is horrible it makes me so angry at how they could treat her.

Well i can assure you it won't happen while she's here with me if anyone as much and trips her up from her pack they will have to deal with me I was brought out of my thoughts by Amara screaming I rushed into her room to see her covered in flour.

" Amara love what happened , who did this ?" Her eyes flickered from the floor to me within seconds. She picked herself up from the floor and shly walked towards the bathroom. I ran her a hot bubble bath and said to her  " if you need me I will be just outside okay ?" She smiled brightly " okay thank you Nate "  I smiled at her and closed the door leaving her to clean her self up.

I left her room in search of the culprit who would do this I guess I know where to start that dreadful pack of hers.

I walked Into the game room and saw my pack members and alpha greggs  sitting as soon as I entered my pack bowed with respect " alpha Greg I need to speak to you outside please " he nodded and followed me outside.

I closed the door and stood in front of him and raised my voice as I asked  " what is wrong with you! " his eyes widened " excuse me Nathaniel?" I growled under my breath " how could you let your pack be so horrible to Amara she's a sweet girl and I'm sure she seems like she would never do anything to anger or dissapoint your pack " he didn't look satisfied with the statement I made.

" I'm sorry Nathaniel but I don't think that's any of your business because Amara was always the outcast of our pack since the day she was born her own parents didn't love her so the  rest of the pack disowned her as well"  what the heck why wouldn't her parents love her she's perfect.

" why ?" He sighed " because she was different every one was jealous " , " in what way different ?" " she's the first white wolf in centuries and that's why because everyone was jealous  " but that's a good thing her parents should be proud of her.

I left him standing there and went back to Amara when I got to her room she was already dressed I knocked the door before entering she greeted me with a smile " are you okay love ?" She smiled and nodded.

I walked over to sit in front of her as she sat on her bed smiling at me. A thought came across my mind that amara will go into heat on the next full moon which is at the end of this week. Due to the fact I'm an  alpha this means that  her heat will last longer than normal wolves.

In that time We will be more attracted to each other and her scent will become alluring to males especially myself during her heat it will be easier for her to get pregnant which I don't want to happen yet because she's still a little young and I don't think she would be able to handle it she has enough on her plate right now.

I don't think I will be able to control myself around her but I guess we will face that problem when we get to it. Laid down beside her and figured I would leave soon as I  have pack business to deal with I have to sort out Greggs pack and find out when they will leave not to soon I hope because I would hate for me and Amara to get to close only for her to leave ,maybe she can stay here I mean there's plenty of room.

I quickly kissed Amara's head and got up out of bed and loosened my muscles a bit. " Amara love I'm just going to a meeting I will be back soon okay ?" She smiled and nodded " okay Nate that's fine " I smiled at her and left the room I got to the meeting and sat at the head of the table with my beta and gamma on either side of me and the same for Gregg he had his beta and gamma too.

Time passed and the meeting grew more boring with the second. " okay so Nathaniel our pack house should be refurbished in  two weeks is that okay ?" I wasn't even really listening I just smiled and nodded " yes that sounds good ".

Finally the meeting was over I was so happy I decided to go into the kitchen and get something to eat and found a chocolate cake one of the females must have made it.

I took two slices one for me and one for Amara I hope she likes chocolate cake. I grabbed the plates and carried them back to Amara's room and opened the door " I would have knocked but my hands are full " I chuckled she giggled and I set her plate beside her on the bed and sat down with my own " do you like chocolate cake love ?" She looked a bit confused " I've never tried it " what she's never had chocolate cake.

" it is delicious I guarantee you will like it " she smiled and tried it and instantly smiled I guess she likes, after finishing our cake and putting our plates in the dishwasher we sat and talked for what seemed like hours it turns out we have a lot in common we both like art and enjoy nature and a few other things.

It wasn't that late maybe around 8 I quickly checked my phone and it said it was 11 o'clock what it's later than I thought " I guess it's time for bed Amara " she smiled and sighed " I guess, Nate ?" I smiled at her " yes love ?" She gave me the puppy dog eyes " can I sleep with you tonight ? It's lonely  in that big room " I smiled and picked her up holding her close " of course you can " she smiled and let out a cute giggle I must be the luckiest alpha and male wolf there is.

I carried Amara to my huge room and laid her down on the bed and pulled the covers over her then I walked into the bathroom and stripped down to my boxers and got into bed beside Amara who instantly cuddled up to my chest and I wrapped my arms around her slender waist and kissed her forehead then closed my eyes and went to sleep.
