Chapter 7 Part 1

Amara's POV

After relaxing all day yesterday I thought I'd do something with my day today like go get some new clothes or go find a job something to preocupy me I honestly  don't know what to do with myself  today.

I mean I don't know if I'm staying here or if I have to go back to the old pack house. But I guess only time will tell right?

I threw on some clothes you know, just a hoodie and jeans - comfy clothes I guess. I wonder what horror I will endure today.

As I glanced around the room I discovered Nathaniel's phone laying on the floor, I picked it up and it buzzed, I pressed the home button only to see he had a message from his mother I was about to run and find nate to give him his phone but the message drew me in like a siren calling ships to the rocky shore.

Message:
Mum
Hi Nathaniel when are you going to tell amara the news you can't keep hiding it from her son she deserves to know...

What news? What do I deserve to know I started to ponder about the possibilities of what this news could mean, was he going to dump me? What should I expect. The rage came over my eyes like a glare and before I knew it I was storming out of the room to find nate. I wanted answers no I needed answers, how could he keep things from me I thought he loved me!.

After searching the house for 10 minutes I finally found him standing behind the bar in the kitchen, he was making pancakes and bacon. His eyes flurried towards me and his face began to light up as I entered the room, by this point my face was the opposite I had a face like thunder.

Nate smiled and said to me "good morning love I see you've got yourself out of bed" the amount of anger raging inside me was impossible to hide I lashed out and began shouting at the top of my voice " GOOD MORNING HOW DARE YOU GOOD MORNING ME!!". The look on his face was as though someone had sucked the life out of his eyes he began to speak calmly and walk towards me " Amara Princess what's going on, what is this about?", I couldn't believe what I was going to say but after so many years of being treated like the pack outlaw I stared him right in the eyes and said "do you even care about me because if you did you wouldn't be keeping secrets from me!, I thought you loved  me but clearly I was a fool to think so!".

The rage took over and I began to see red there were a million thoughts running through my mind, I couldn't stay in the same room as him I turned to walk away and nate grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him I stood in complete shock glaring at him waiting for his response to all of this. "amara love what makes you think I don't love you, you have no idea how much love I have in my heart for you, as for this allegation about keeping secrets from you, I don't know what you mean by this! Listen why don't we go to our room and have a nice quiet chat and discuss all of this nonsense? " his eyes changed the look on his face had faded, he looked heart broken as if I had shattered his heart into a million pieces.

" okay nate but I want you to explain this to me" I calmed myself down a tad and handed him his phone he looked at me with confusion, then began to read the message, "oh baby it's not what you think I didn't want it to come out like this but..." he gently let go of my hand and got down on one knee, my face had dropped and the expression on my face was pure excitement and confusion at the same time.

"Amara dear I didn't want to ask you like this, I had a wonderful day arranged and we would have had an amazing day filled with laughter and food and a day for us both to be together and not worry about anyone else, but here goes; will you marry me?".
