Chapter 6

Amara's PoV
I woke up in a cold bed alone. I glanced around wondering where Nathaniel could be. I heard the shower turn on and felt calm knowing he was just in the other room.

I slowly got up off the comfortable bed and  walked to my room to get changed. I threw on some leggings and an oversized hoodie ,correction Nathaniel's hoodie I may or may not have borrowed it; he won't mind.

After quickly throwing my hair into a messy bun and putting on some very little makeup and you know the usual like brushing your teeth and stuff like that you know I won't go into detail, blah blah blah boring.

Anyway after finally finishing getting dressed I made my way slowly back to Nate's room. I opened the door and looked up to see him standing only in a pair of jeans and a pair of shoes. I could feel my stomach burning up , god I hate being in heat it messes with your hormones and the only way to make the pain stop and the build up of hormones is to mate but I don't think I'm ready yet.

I was suddenly brought out of my trance by a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I slowly turned around and stared into his bright green eyes and a smile crept it's way onto my face. Being lost in thought about how lucky I am to be with such an amazing guy who always knows how to put a smile on my face I swear it amazes me how he can do that so easily and how just a single smile from him  can make my knees go weak.

I really do love him more than anything on this earth; he is my other half , I'm glad we have each other , I'm glad I have him.

A small kiss was placed on my lips which brought me out of my small day dream I smiled and hugged him tightly.

" What are you thinking about Amara  love ? "

I smiled at him " just about how lucky I am to have such an amazing guy like you Nathaniel " a smile lit up his face like fireworks on Halloween night.

We both lay down on the soft comfortable bed , our bodies close together my heat calming itself being close to my mate. I never want this to end this peace and love between the two of us it makes me feel wanted and cared about this is the most I've ever felt wanted since I can remember since my pack treated me like dirt for my whole life.Feeling like this is all I ever wanted in life to feel needed ,wanted and have someone who actually loves and cares about me.

"Do you wanna watch a movie, y'know, since we're stuck in here?" Nathaniel offered, a smile tugging at his lips.

I was momentarily distracted by his charm before I responded. "Sure, X-men it is." I reached towards the DVD rack but Nate wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me back. I couldn't help but feel his touch lingering on my skin. Damn hormones.

"I was gonna say Disney, love," Nate pouted like a cute little puppy, not a big bad wolf.

"Do you really wanna mess with me?" I cocked an eyebrow "I am in heat after all."

"That makes you horny not moody, love. You're not pregnant, not yet anyway," Nate kissed my neck.

I groaned in annoyance, shoving him away playfully. "We're watching X-men!" I let out a teasing growl.

"Did you just growl at me, love?" Nate smirked, pinning me down.

"I can't help it, I get feisty when I don't get my way." I bit his arm playfully , making him release me. Nate went tumbling off the bed to the floor, making me double over in laughter until my stomach hurt.

I lay there in content laughter until I was tugged off the bed by my ankle. I gripped a pillow, bringing it down with me. I swatted him with it before making a scramble for the bed, only to be hit with my own pillow.

I grabbed another pillow, throwing it at his head.

"Oh it's on bitch." Came Nates voice.

And that's when I made the mistake of going a little too far and kicking him in the balls. To be fair, I was aiming for his stomach. Guess I won't be getting pregnant for a while.

Nathaniels PoV

Yano that really hurt when she did that. Like a girl can't imagine the pain a guy feels when he's kicked there.

I pressed a hand to my crotch, letting out a groan as I tumbled off the bed once again.

For a small woman ... she sure is feisty!. That's one of the things  I love about her,"Alright it's pay back time" I smirked.

I got up off the floor and tackled Amara onto the bed pinning her down a little with a slight scream " ALRIGHT NATE I GIVE OKAY YOU WIN !, we can watch Disney".

My plan worked perfectly ,a smirk  appeared on my face "see love that wasn't so hard after all I am the alpha". After that little play fight it was time for movies !.

I let Amara choose a movie since she wanted to watch x-men and couldn't which she was happy enough with. She ended up choosing beauty and the beast, yeah I know haha two werewolves watching a movie about a beast finding true love. Cringe worthy I know but you can't blame me Disney make great movies.

By the time we finished the money Amara had alright passed out and was fast asleep on my chest. Today's been a lazy day but still time together is better than a day with the whole pack not spending time together.

Well an early night doesn't kill anyone. I  pulled the covers over Amara and I whilst getting comfy and shut my eyes.

Alright guys I know this is a long time coming but here it is chapter 6! I'm sorry for my absence but I just haven't had the inspiration to update for a while I even considered deleting all of my books but seeing how much they have thrived I decided not to. So thank you so much ! For all the views and comments ! And votes!. I cannot believe how far this book has came!. Sorry near the end it wasn't as good it's because TeenageDelinquent helped me write most of his chapter due to me having writers block. P.s check her out ! She's an amazing writer !
