“I am bricking it for DT today,” I moaned, flopping down on the seats in the sixth form common room. “I’ve done no revision for it at all!”
“You’ll be ok, Dane,” said John reassuringly, sitting down next to me.
“No I won’t, I’m gonna fail and get kicked out and then my life with be OVER!” I growled.
John patted me on the shoulder. “It’s not as bad as you think.”
I winced. “Do you mind not doing that? I think I slept badly last night, and my back is twinging like mad.”
“Do you want me to give you a massage?” he asked, moving his hand round to my back and rubbing in gentle circles with his knuckles.
“A little over to the right… On the ridge of the muscle… Oooooh yeah, that’s it,” I grunted appreciatively. “Ever think of being a masseuse if you fail your exams?”
He snorted in amusement and carried on massaging me. After a few moments I stretched and said, “Thanks, that really helps. It’s so tight, ugh!”
“Anytime,” he replied. “Do you want me to go through some DT stuff with you now?”
“Nah, screw it, I don’t have enough time, I’ll just forget it all anyway. I’m gonna have to go on what I can dredge up from the depths of my memory.”
John nodded and suddenly stood up, waving to catch the attention of a boy who had just walked in to the common room. I couldn’t help glancing at his tight butt clad in his dark school trousers as he did so.
“Hey Mark, wanna grab a Subway? I’m starving.”
“Yeah sure, I was just coming to look for you. You coming too, Dane?”
“Yep,” I yawned, stretching like a cat. I picked up my blazer and bag. “Let’s go.”
I sat back down on the grubby seating in the common room, a steaming foot-long Italian BMT sub in my hands. I slowly took a luxurious bite, chewing slowly and moaning in ecstasy.
“Jeez, Dane, don’t get a boner over it,” John snickered.
“Go fuck yourself,” I retorted thickly around a mouthful of meat and salad.
“I can,” he smirked smugly. I arched an eyebrow in disdain and returned my attention to my sandwich.
Part-way through, John finished his six-inch sub and rested his head on my shoulder. It felt good, and my heart skipped a beat, but I spoke teasingly.
“Not that I don’t like you leaning on me, but it’s kinda distracting me from food, so…”
