Thud
Her violet eyes were shaking as she looked up.
My sword was firmly planted in the soft dirt in front of her face.
"Why....Why didn't you kill me? You had every right to."
She was shaking like a leaf. My enemy was petrified of my actions again. I guess I have grown through this entire experience.
I stared at her as the rain that once was a trickle was now a downpour.
"I am not like you. I will not kill someone before I get to know them."
"Then you will die, you bloody fool! What makes you think that I would not kill you right now?"
"For one thing, you could not kill me since I have your weapon."
"I could kill you with my bare hands."
"And then my friends would kill you."
She looked around at my intimidating group of friends, who all had their weapons drawn.
"Point taken. So if you are not going to kill me, then what are you going to do with me?"
I picked up my sword, which transformed back into the pendant. I knelt in front of her and looked directly in her eyes. Her eyes were a vortex of purple hues, full of anger and fear.
"I have decided that you will tell us Damien's plan and where his hideout is."
"And if I refuse?"
"I have my ways of making you talk."
I pointed to Gajeel.
He grinned and walked over, cracking his knuckles while chuckling in his distinctive way.
I simply handed him a white suit with a pair of black shades.
"I thought you wanted me to torture her."
"I do. Your guitar is in the guild hall." I stated matter-of-factly.
"I AM NOT THAT BAD!" Gajeel hollered as the rest of the guild fell on the now muddy forest floor cackling.
Ignacio picked up Val by her arms.
"Come on, lets get this over with." He urged. "Its drier inside anyway."
We agreed and marched inside through the sludge that was the ground.
"Do you honestly think someone's singing will make me talk? HA! I am a shadow freak! Nothing you do will make me talk." Val bellowed as we made it inside.
Next to the bar, there was a small stage with red curtains and a single spotlight shining onto a single plywood chair. Beside the chair was an electric blue guitar with a microphone attached.
"Ignacio, help me with Val." I said nodding to a chair next to the stage.
He helped me pick Val up and drag her to the chair. I created a durable rope and we tied her legs and arms to the chair.
"I have endured worse. This will not stop me! You will never find Damien! Damien will find you!"
"Yeah, yeah. Just keep yapping. We will see just how loyal you are to him after Gajeel's finished with you." I scoffed as I walked away to where the others were.
"Here." I handed the group earplugs which they all took.
Ignacio was reluctant at first.
"Is this Gajeel guy's singing that awful?" Ignacio pondered.
