Lucy POV:
"I don't know why I hummed in front of Natsu. I mean he's seems nice, but I hardly know him! I... don't want.. to get close to anyone."A sigh escapes my mouth after that thought.
"Whatever. It doesn't matter anyway because he'd never want to be friends with someone who doesn't talk. Besides he's already made a ton of friends... he doesn't need another one, especially a person like me." I tell myself as I was putting my books in my locker.
"Time to get to class"

"Alright class you better study this tonight! There will be a test tomorrow and this material will be on it!" Mr. Conbolt announced.
As the bell rang signaling the arrival of lunch, a sigh of relief leaves my mouth. I then pick up my bag and head to the cafeteria.
Once I got there I waited in the food line, got and paid for my food, and then left the cafeteria.
As I walk up the steps to my usual eating spot, the roof, I finally feel refreshed by the nice, crisp autumn air that blows in my face once I open the door.
"The cafeteria is way too loud and crowded for me. I'd like to actually enjoy my lunch."
While sitting down on the cool roof, I reach in my bag for my headphones. Once plugged in, I stick them on my head and quietly listen to the music as I eat my lunch.

Natsu POV:
As I made my way to the cafeteria, I see Lucy walk in the other direction."Where is she going?"
I keep walking and go through my daily routine of getting lunch: get in line, get my food (usually spicy things), pay, and finally head to the table my friends are at.
My friends are nice; I actually already know some of them from elementary school, so it's kinda cool were back together.
As I approach my friends, I place my plate on the table and quickly state, "I'll be right back!"
Going in the same direction Lucy went, I notice a flight of stairs.
"Up there?"
Up and up the stairs went. Finally a door stands in my path.
I crack the door open to try and not surprise her, but to my surprise I hear the most angelic voice I've ever heard. The soft, light voice was so beautiful.
I open the door more.
"I know it's her!"
Finally I'm able to see her. She looks so gorgeous; her eyes kept closed as she sings gracefully.
"Beautiful." slips out of my mouth by accident.
She stops and stares at me in shock.
"Oh, um I'm sorry! I...uhh...um you sound really good." I awkwardly say trying to hide my blush.
"Um.. thanks." she responds and looks down.
"Wait is she blushing too?" I think which only causes me to blush harder.
"Well... uh I better get going... bye!" I say
"Bye." she replied with a small smile.
"She's so beautiful." I thought as I walk back inside and down the steps.

Lucy POV:
"I spoke in front of him.""My face feels hot and my heart is beating really fast. He's so cute- wait what? Why am I thinking this? Ughhhhhhhh..."
*breathes*
"But... I'm happy... maybe we really can be friends."
