We rushed to where the bone splitting scream came from. As we ran, all I could think about was the war with Gaea. We haven't had a monster attack since then, and believe me, it's been odd for all of us.
I have to admit, it gets boring after awhile without monsters. Just train, train, train, train, t-I think you get the point.
If you looked at the other campers, there always seems to be a bored gleam in their eyes, especially Percy and Annabeth.
Anyway, stupid ADHD, we ran to the scream. What we saw was disappointing. It was just a girl getting claimed.
We should have known. No monster will be here for a while. They probably are getting strong, and then attacking us all at once for killing Gaea.
The girl standing in front of us has long brown hair that passes her waist. She's not wearing a lot of makeup, which contradicted with the glowing dove above her head, and she look like she braided her hair a lot, because there were kinks the dark mass. I could already tell she wasn't my type besides, she was an Aphrodite Girl now. I looked over at the boys and practically saw the hearts in Leo's eyes. She started to run towards the forest.
