We Are A Family

Chapter 09

After Buddy was released from the hospital, he was immediately arrested and thrown in jail; since then. I haven't received any life threatening phone calls, why did that even happen.. The next day I went to the hospital to visit Kayla, Alexander and Mark; I told the three about the night before and Kayla's eyes were widened the whole time. I told her that I didn't think we would be dealing with him or Lauren for a long time, she was more relaxed and calm now; she told me about Alexanders nick name. Alex, it was fitting and adorable.
Its been a month since the accident, CC and the guys were coming back in a few days; and I couldn't wait to have him to hold again. He was going to be here when the baby was due, and that was something I couldn't wait for; I stood at the stove, stirring spaghetti noodles while humming.
"I can't wait to meet you, little one.." I murmured, I messed with the hamburger meet then drained the grease. I added regu, a sauce that makes the spaghetti taste ten times better without the tomatoes added.
When the supper was made, and then made the tea up; I turned to the people on the couch who's eyes were glued to the football game. Rolling my eyes, I crossed my arms.
"Its done!" I yelled.
Shay, Ricky, Jayy and Jace all looked my way before walking into the kitchen to sit down; Jace grabbed the silverware and napkins. Placing them next to plates, then grabbed the cups.
We all looked at our plates, looking to one another; we began to dig in.
"This tastes really good." Ricky announced as I smiled softly.
"Thank you." I said.

When we finished the meal, Shay stood at the sink with me to wash the dishes; if I was like my mom. I would of made Jace wash them, but I wasn't. I let him adventure with the guys back into the living room to watch the game.
"Are you ready to have him or her yet?" Shay asked rinsing the plates, I grinned with a nod.
"Yeah, two more months and we'll finally meet the little one." I said.
Nowadays, doctors can scan your belly to tell you if it will be a boy or a girl; I didn't want to know the gender. I wanted it to be a surprise, I know it makes the baby showers more difficult; but its more fun that way.
We walked back into the living room to join the other three, I went to sit down on the couch but was jerked into Ricky's lap who held me there. I laughed trying to squirm out of his hold, but I eventually just have up and just dealt with the fact I was in his lap.
It got to the point we ended up watching some scary movie about some guy with nails in his head. I forgot the name, but that was probably because I was asleep in Ricky's hold.
I yawned when I felt movement, I was being lifted up and being carried; I knew I was on the stairs because of the bumps I could feel.
I rubbed my eyes when placed on the bed, I didn't even want to open my eyes; not even when I felt a pair of lips being placed on mine.

The next morning came fast, I received a call from CC telling me they would be home in a few hours; I questioned him about the days and he told me that Ashley didn't want to sleep in a hotel that he was too anxious to see his new nephew and girlfriend.
Ashley took the brother roll very seriously, he literally acted like a brother and kept pestering me about pictures.
I was doing the laundry while listening to Motionless In White play throughout the house, I was a bit upset that Jayy and Ricky didn't tell me goodbye last night. I knew I fell asleep, but they could of woke me up.
I yawned, then smiled softly feeling the baby kick.
"You're daddy will be home in a bit." I said, and that sounded very weird. I was still trying to get used to the idea about having a baby, and that CC was going to be a father.
I walked back into the living room to straighten it up, Shay was doing her hair and make up; she wanted to look nice for Ashley when he got home.
I still looked like a mess, no make up was on; my hair was everywhere and my clothes didn't match. I even had only one sock on.
Running upstairs into our room, I ran the brush through my hair; messed with my eye liner and put on mascara. I threw on some skinny jeans with a few tears and a plain blue shirt, finding some socks; I placed them on, then walked back stairs.

Me and Shay waited patiently for the guys to come in, and when they did. We both regretted the make up idea, I had tears streaming down my cheeks as I rushed over to CC; my arms wrapped around him and my lips on his.
He laughed softly, his hands rested on my lower back as I looked up at him.
"Miss me?" He asked.
I grinned before nodding. "Way too much." I said before pressing my lips back to his.
Andy, Jake and Jinxx all stood there in a awkward line; Jake cleared his throat before heading upstairs. Jinxx and Andy were soon right behind him, CC smiled before kneeling down in front of me then placed his hands on my stomach.
I smiled softly as he pressed his ear to my stomach now.
"Whats that? Mommy was partying too much while daddy was away? Oh no, you couldn't sleep because of the loud sounds?" He asked as I laughed.
CC looked at my stomach before standing back up. "I'm glad we went on tour a month ago and not this month." He told me as I smiled with a nod.
"Same, a lot happened while you were away." I told him.

After the guys were all settled back in, we all meet in the living room; I explained to them about the phone call and how Buddy and Lauren were after Mark and CC to murder them. I mentioned Kayla's birth, and when I did. Ashley was out the door with Shay right behind him.
I told them about my close death, until Ricky saved the day. Buddy was arrested and Jace was staying with us for a while, at first the guys expressions were horrified that went back to relaxed with relief.
CC was holding me in a gently embrace, his face nuzzling my neck as he frowned softly.
"I guess I owe Ricky a thank you." He said.
I rolled my eyes with a soft smile. "Its been a month, I don't want to keep bringing up that night.. it was terrifying." I murmured.
Andy had his knees to his chest as he frowned.
"I'm just glad you and Shay are okay, we're not going back on tour for a few month's; so if anything like that happens again. We'll be here." He said.
I nodded with a soft smile.
"I really missed you guys, I love Shay; but it just wasn't as exciting without the rest of you." I said.
The guys all looked to each other before making their way over to me, and we were in a group hug with laughter.
"Haley, we missed you way more." They all said.
I really did love this family.
