As I walk around the foreign neighborhood I take in all my surroundings. Three houses down is the weird cat lady. I step over a rotting apple that has been unnoticed while the other apple were being picked. Fifth house on the right is a new family. As I'm walking down my street I start to notice a clearing. Through the lack of trees, I notice a rusty little slide. This is the type of slide that hasn't been in use for over 7 years. I don't think that even an insane person would let their child sit on it. Past the rusty slide is a small swing set. All the seats are different and all the chains are different lengths and types. There are three normal seats and one baby seat on the far right side. The park is located right in the middle of all the action. It sees every thing. It hears every thing. It smells everything. It can tell when the poor widow that lives two houses down has just put a bowl of food out for her cat. I walk along the grass mixed with an assortment of sand and wood chips. I walk up the swing closes to the baby swing and take a seat. The entire swing seems to scream at my weight and pressure that I have put on it. Now it's time for the moment of truth; I push myself back with my short legs and then pick them up. I close my eyes and listen to the cry of the chain every time it swings. Suddenly a loud and goofy voice makes my eyes shoot open and I look up to see a tall, tan, masculine boy standing in front of me hold a small, fluffy dog.
"Do you think my dog is cute?" This strange man asks me.
"Excuse me?"
"I said, 'do you think my dog is cute?'" This boy repeats to me. "Um yeah he is. He's very cute." I say unsure of what I should actually say. The dog was indeed very cute and fluffy but I was very unsure as to why this young man was asking me.
