I pull out my ear buds and hit shuffle. As I'm swinging I notice that my shoe lace has undone it's self so I slow down to a complete stop and start to tie my all black converse. I look around and then out of the corner of my eye I see a boy with bright red hair walk over to me. He takes a seat in the swing next to me and starts talking about random things.
"Hi, I'm Michael!" The weird flame red haired boy practically yells at me.
"Hey, I'm Carly." I speak quietly. Then without even asking, he rips one of my ear buds out and starts listening to my music.
"What are you listening to?" He says even though he's listening to it.
"Um, Green day." I mutter because some people think that my taste in music is terrible.
"I love that band!" He screams getting way to excited about the music. He seems nice but for all I know he could be a serial killer. He starts singing, or should I say screaming, the lyrics and I find myself laughing at this. I look down at my phone and notice it says 6:15 pm. I need to get home before my brother comes home from soccer practice or else he'll be upset. I also have to type a lab report for my dumb teacher. I ask Michael for my ear bud back and he pouts but then finally gives it back.
"I have to go home but I'll see you later, have a nice night Michael." And then I start to walk back leaving the weird boy alone at the park. I get home and put on a sweatshirt because my house is always freezing. I start to type my lab report but I only get as far as the first sentence before I fall asleep on my desk.
