Chapter 5

It's been a month since I got a girlfriend. Masaya ako, everything seems to be in their rightful places now. Anne really gives me the light; she is my sanity and sunshine.

A month with her is enough to make me fall for her. Yes, I'm finally saying it. I love her so much that I think I would die if she ever leaves me.

Everything about us is great, the relationship and even the sex. Di na sya bumalik ng bansa nya nung naging kami kaya naman lumipat na ko sa condo ko, dun na kami na uwi. So in other terms parang live-in na kaming dalawa. Malaya kaming gawin ang mga gusto namin. And the greatest part is that we already have sex in every inch of my condo. My condo now is not just a unit that I go home to; it is now a pool of memories. And I can't imagine it without her. She defines everything for me now. She is the air I breathe, the light I woke up to, and the life of me.

"Baby, come on we need to go", she hug me from the back. Naghahanda kami ngayon sa pagpunta kila mama. Dumating kasi ang Papa nya dito sa Pinas. Sabi ni Cronus dito na daw sila magstay sa Pilipinas.

I kiss her temple before answering, "Wait for me in the car Baby, I'll just turn this off".

She kisses me before going out. I look at my laptop. Isang buwan ko nang ginagawa to. Typing everything we have done. It is like a diary where I keep our memories together. Every second with her is a gift for me so I need to keep them.

After an hour we reach my parents house, maingay sa loob ng bahay and as expected ay nandun na sila Cronus kasama ang asawa nya at si Ares.

Ares always look at me with such disdain; I think he don't like me but as if I care. His father accepted me and that is more important to me.

"Oh, Eros", Cronus hug me when he see me. "This is my wife, Hestia", kinamayan ko ang asawa nya and she seems to like me. Habang nag-kukwentuhan kami ay napansin kong nawawala si Anne.

"Cronus, excuse me, I'll just look for Anne", he wave me out "Oh, can't take it when she's away huh?", I smile at his remarks before leaving them. Where the hell did she go?

"Ares. Please, we've talk about this", Si Anne yun ah, kasama nya si Ares?

"Anne? Baby?", I called out to her and in just a second she is standing in front of me.

"How long have you been here?", she looked so scared. "I just got here", she then hugs me. She is acting weird.

"I'm talking to Ares about that disdain look his giving you, you told me that before right?", I nod at her. So that's what they are talking about.

"Come on, let's go there, I want to see my father", I hold her hands and walk along with her. I looked back but I didn't see Ares coming out to where she came from. He must really hate me, but why? I never remember anything I've done wrong to him.

We mingle with everyone. I'm waiting for my family to be all here and all I'm waiting is Aaron, he said that he is on his way.

"Hey", napalingon ako sa taong humawak sa balikat ko and then nakita ko si Aaron.

"Hey bro", I hug him. "You have my back right?"

"Eulesis, man up dude", hinampas nya ko nang pabiro but I can't help it. This is nerve cracking.

Aaron pushes me towards the center. Okay, kaya ko to, I need to do this.

Tumikhim ako para makuha ang atensyon ng lahat. Nang makita kong nakatingin na silang lahat sakin ay nagsimula na akong magsalita.

"Hello, good evening to all, maybe you are wandering why I am here in front of you." I paused then look at Anne "I want to introduce to you my girlfriend" I held my hands to Anne gesturing her to come beside me which she did. Nang nasa tabi ko na sya ay tinitigan ko sya nang mata sa mata, this is it.

"Anne, Baby, I've been thinking about this for a week now and I really am sure that you—", I hold her hands and kiss it "— is the right girl for me"

I kneel in front of her and I could see that she is not expecting this. "Marry me Anne. Let's make our own life and family"

Napatakip sya sa bibig nya then tears suddenly flow from her eyes, she is looking at me with a expression I can't quite understand. Is she going to say no. Nawalan na ko nang pag-asa but then she answered me when I am about to got up.

"Yes, I'll marry you Eros, I'll marry you"
