My Long Lost Bad Boy

"I've got enough problems"

The walls were decorated with some beautiful white silks covered with a huge purplish blue fabric. The lamps were all made out of glasses and they were hanging beautifully on the ceiling. The atmosphere here was really different. It showed a really high classed aura, like there isn't even anyone who's not rich or famous here.

Well, except me of course

I went inside with Jayden beside me as i promised. He made me wear this long peach dress that goes along my body. It showed a quarter of my boobs and i don't really like it to be honest. My feet were all wobbly whenever i walk cause the heels are almost 20 cms for God's sake seriously it won't be funny if i were to fall.
He offered me his hand and i accepted it. We walked side by side to greet every people we passed.

This party is seriously no kidding. I could spot around 7 celebs already even though it's only been around 15 minutes. I really felt small. Everyone around me was wearing things that are probably around 1 million or something. Even having one of them would take me a century. How could i be so broken really.

"You okay?" he asked in worry

"Uh, i don't know how to say it." i glanced at him and glanced the surrounding "but i think i can manage it" i smiled

"Really? Tell me if you don't feel good" he replied and gave me a teasing smile

I smiled back and saw a man around his 40s came to our direction. I turned my gaze to Jayden and his eyes were fixed to that man. Looking all stiff.

"You're here son" that man stated. So he must be Jayden's dad?

"Hello dad. Is everyone here already?"

"Yes. Only several left. Oh, and where's your brother? I haven't seen him anywhere" his forehead was frowning when he said the last sentence. I only stayed silent because i didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

"True, i haven't seen him around too. Maybe he's on his way" he replied "Oh, and this is Alice"

I was spacing out i didn't realise he introduced me to his father, until he snapped me out. "Alice?"

"O-Oh, sorry" i flung my hair and shook his dad's hand "I'm Alice Bloom. Nice to meet you, Sir" i smiled.

I tried to put on my best appearance in front of him. I wonder if i give off an elite aura.

"Nice to meet you too lady" he shook my hand back and his eyes were scanning me from head to toe.
It made me more nervous but i still tried to look calm and proper.

He turned to Jayden and gave Jayden a signal to start the party. "Let's start"

Jayden turned his face to me and told me to stay still. I shrugged giving him an okay "Good luck for the opening" i waved and he waved back

And now i'm left with his dad. Ugh, awkward.
"Don't worry about me sir, just enjoy the party" i smiled in a polite way offering him a way

"Okay then. I'll see you later"

I nodded and bowed to him. Phew, that went well.

I looked and walked around since it was a bit boring to stand still doing nothing. I went to look at the foods and snacks.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen" Jayden's voice sounded so firm and manly. He looked kinda cool this way. I never realized that before.

I turned my attention to him and listened to each and every word of his.

"Thank you for coming to our celebration of our company's 25th anniversary. We're really grateful for your attendance and time. I hope we can delight all of us tonight and make it worth. Thankyou for your attention. Please, enjoy the party" he ended the speech with a big bow and a smile
