Escaping

"I am so sorry!" I panicked as I flung my hands around.

"Y/n what is it? Why do you know about this!?" He said crumpling up the peice of paper and throwing it to the ground. I gulped and Toothless stood up and sat beside Hiccup, both giving me strange looks.

"I.."

"Y/n" Hiccup warned "Is there something that I need to know?"

"No its fine..I'll tell you later rate now is not the time. Is Toothless ok?" I looked at the Nightfury as his mouth opened and tongue rolled out.

"I'll take that as a yes, Hiccup go fly home. I'll be there in the morning" I said walking off. Hiccup ran up to me and grabbed my arm.

"I don't think so, your hiding something and your gonna tell me" He said and dragged me over to Toothless "but seeing we found Toothless and it's still night out we're going back to rest up" He jumped onto Toothless and gave me a hand up.

"You might want to hold onto me" He said while grabbing the rope. I blushed and shakily wrapped my arms around his torso.

"Alright" I whispered. Hiccup told Toothless to go as he shot up into the air, almost making me loose my grip.

"Oh terrible terror. TERRIBLE TERROR!" I screamed at how fast we were flying. I felt Hiccups chest rubble as he laughed. Minutes later we landed rate in front of Hiccups house. He jumped off with me rate behind him, once we made it inside the house Nightspear was down the stairs, flipping his tail as if he were a dad waiting for his daughter to come home from doing something she wasn't suppose to do. Standing there awkwardly I said goodnight to Hiccup and rushed going upstairs.

"Yak yak" Night roared in a rude tone. I flopped on the thin bed and stared at at the wall.

"Oh shut up. We need to leave" I huffed as I sat back up "We both went out to look for Toothless. He was shot with arrow-but anyways they found us" He gave me a type of weird eyebrow raise, meaning 'who it was'. I gave him the 'you-know-who' face and he growled in a defensive/angry way.

"I don't want to leave..but I can't risk having someone get hurt. Seeing Toothless injured was awakening enough, we leave once Hiccups heart beat slows down" Did I mention Nightspear has supper sensitive hearing? Well you do now. I grabbed my napsack and packed a few of my things that I only had. Geez I kinda wonder how long since I had this thing, it once was my mothers. Just to think she loved to adventure before she had me, such a shame I've ruined her life.

'No, let's not think about this.'

I whipped away my tears that slipped past my eyes. I saw a pencil and a notebook laying on a desk and grabbed them, quickly writting down a letter, or a story cause of how much I'm writting..and telling. Half hour later I dropped the pencil and got up, making the bed and cleaning anything up that seemed out of order.

"Ready Night- oh.." Nightspear was laying on the bed I just made nice and neat, only to have all the blankets sticking to his body and the pillow impaled through his tail "I just made that! Control your energy for Thor sakes" I wripped the blankets off him and placed them back on the bed, too bad the pillow had to be thrown out.

"Yak!-" Night roared.

"Shh!" I hushed him by grabbing his mouth and squeezing them shut "I swear if you woke anybody or dragon I'm gonna slap you with a fish" His face raised as his tail swayed in excitement "Im not gonna feed you!" He stopped when I pulled away from him and opened the door to the bedroom and walked out. Nightspear followed and flew down the Lodge and waited by the door while I snuck my way down the creeking stairs.

Wake up.

Hey.

Wake up.

Thats what it feels like the stairs are trying to say rate now, I hate you stairs. Once I made it down to the bottom I stared at Hiccup sleeping where he slept before, walking up I kissed my fingers and touched his cheek.

"I'm sorry Hiccup" I whispered and walked out the huge double doors. Before we left I grabbed a few apples for me to eat and threw a couple fish at Night to eat now, which he hogged it down in seconds.

"Let's go boy, the sky is started to lighten up" His tail lowered to my level as I grabbed it and flung onto his back, grabbing his ears as we were about to fly off. A black figure shot out in front of us, whimpering as it got closer. I noticed the green eyes and red flap dragging behind the dragon, Toothless.

"Don't worry, we're going to get some fish" I lied with a smile, but he growled and and nudged Nightspear's side. Welp, that didn't work.

"Wow your one smart dragon" I mumbled causing Nightspear to growl in jealousy. "Hey your smart too okay" I patted his head as he purred in delight. I looked back at Toothless and stuck a finger up to my lips "Don't tell anyone, we have our reasons" He gurgled while walking up to us, rubbing his head on my thigh. "Awe I'll miss you too" I smiled.

"Goodbye buddy" I said to him as he took a few steps back away from us with a sad look, I looked back at Hiccups house.

"Goodbye Hiccup, thanks for everything" I ordered Nightspear to fly as he started to flap his wings, giving off a bright gray glow and in a few seconds we were off.
