~FLASHBACKS~

It was raining outside and gloomy inside. I've yet not eaten anything since I was forgotten about once again for the 3rd day in a row. I was very light headed from the lack of nutrients I needed for my body. I sighed and walked over to my window. I unlocked the latch and pushed on it. The window got stuck for a moment but I was able to get it open, making it hit off the castle wall outside.

I looked off into the distance at the mountain nearby. It was such a beautiful mountain- my mothers favorite place to be exact. Memories of family hunting and events that took place on that mountain flowed threw my head along with guilt.

"What's that?" I asked myself. In front of the mountain there was a circle on blue electricity flying everywhere. I had to focus my eyes to see what I was seeing was actually there.

I looked down below me to see if anyone was around. Obviously no was awake seeing how it was the dead of night already. I reached to the side of the window and grabbed a vine. Before I even jumped out the window I grabbed my black cape and scurried on down the vine. All I have to do is walk straight. I took of running into the forest until i came across a river.

"It was rate around here.." I said and looked around. There was still sparks slightly going off in random directions. There was a cave nearby and I could clearly see this gray blob with electricity zipping up its tail and spine.

"Wow.." I said in awe. I couldn't help but go closer to the blob. Once I got close enough to figure what it was I gasped. There was this big dragon with scratches and wounds everywhere all over its body.

I wasn't afraid of dragons since my mother told me that they are very peaceful. She told me she once had a dragon..but got killed by my father. My father would force me to hate dragons but I could never. I reached out and touched a really dig gash on his leg.

Before I knew it I was slammed into a wall. Pain shot all threw my body and my eyes got very blurry. Once I got my eyes to adjust I was face to face with a snarling dragon. It's (f/c) eyes glared into mine. I quickly stuck my hands up.

"I-I'm not going to hurt you-" I started to cough into my hands. I left a wet substance and I looked- blood. The dragon looked down at my hands as well and walked away. I quickly wiped it on my cape and slowly got up. I leaned onto the wall to support my body and sat across the dragon.

It didn't hesitate as it picked me up and threw me around, making me roll all the way out of the cave. I could feel blood dripping out of my nose.

"Fine.." I said wiping the blood away with my sleeve and got up "I'll be back again!" I screamed into the cave. It growled back in anger as a response. I turned around and walked back to the castle.

~~~next day
I'm starving! I mentally yelled at myself. I walked over to the door and looked outside the little window. I could see one of the maids outside my door dusty around my door and frames.
"Excuse me, I'm very hungry may I please have some food?" I asked politely. She gave me a dirty looked and turned around.
"Why would we feed you huh?" She said in a cocky tone and continued on with her job.
 Oh you witch!
I moved away from the window and sat on my bed. I stared up at the ceiling in boredom. I slowly got off my bed. I walked over to a mirror hanging in the corner of the wall and looked at myself. My arms started to look slightly hallow and my cheeks being sucked in. The bottom of my nose had tried blood along with dirt.
"I'm so dirty.." I mumbled . I pulled my hair back to get it out of my face and scrubbed my face off to get the blood and dirt off with an old rag. I glanced over at the window and seen it was starting to get dark out. My face grew with determination as I rushed into my wardrobe and grabbed my same old cape, which is still covered in blood.  I pulled out a wicker basket that held all sorts on medicines and herbs. I pulled out a demijohn that had a little over half of disinfecting potion made with fresh herbs. I checked to see if the plug was tightly plugged into the hole so no leaks happened  and grabbed some wraps, thread, and a needle. I stuck it all in my bag. I opened the window quietly and looked back at the little window on my door. I groaned and ran up to the door, sliding a piece of wood to cover up the window. I went back to the window and checked to see if the ghost was clear.
"Here I come!" I groaned out stepping outside the window. I reached around and grabbed the vine and climbed down. I ran out into the woods until I seen the cave where the last time i seen the dragon at. I reached into my bag and pulled out a big bowl. I went to a lake that was near by and filled the bowl up with water. I slowly walked back to the cave and looked inside. I heard the heavily rapid breathing of the dragon and my ears picked up. I took a deep breathe and my eyes adjusted to the dark cave and I was face-to-face once again by the dragon. It roared at me as saliva flew out of its mouth.
"I'M HERE TO HELP YOU PLEASE KEEP YOUR CLAWS AND TAILS TO YOURSELF" I yelled back out of irritation. The dragon seemed shocked at first but then it made a snorting noise, turning around and laying against a wall. I huffed and cleared my throat "I'm sorry I yelled at you, but you're hurt and I don't think you can heal on your own with those wounds." I placed the bowl of water on the ground beside the dragon. I reached into my bag and pulled out a clean cloth, bandages, bottle of herbs, etc.
"what got you these bad boys" I asked opening the bottle of herbs and putting a few scoops into the water, and then placing the cloth into the water. I looked back at the dragon's face and all it did was snort once more. I sighed and gently placed the rag on the big laceration on his behind leg. The dragon growled at first, but then angerly placed his head in another direction. After cleaning out the wound I grabbed my thread and needle.
"This one is going to hurt, whatever you do, don't try to hurt me so I don't hurt you" I said dipping the tread into a fresh bowl of herbs and water, letting it soak for a bit. I mentally and physically prepared myself when I slipping the thread through the needle. I positioned at the end of the wound and took a deep breathe.
"Here we go.." I said to the dragon. I pierced the skin and slipped the thread threw. I repeated the steps for all the other opened gashes and wrapped anything that needed to be wrapped. I placed a hand on the last wrap and looked at the dragon's face, only to see him asleep.
'I should grab him something to eat' I told myself standing up.
"You may have harmed me but theres something warm about you.."  I said to the sleepy dragon and left the cave with a wicker basket.
