*Michael's POV*

Wes collapsed. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there.

"Uh, Wes? Are you okay?" I knelt down and poked his face. He swatted my hand away.

"Stupid kid," he yawned. "Hasn't anyone taught you to respect you elders?" I helped him up. He looked nothing like the Wes I had met just a few minutes ago. His expression was different, his clothes were different, and his language was different. His hair was red instead of brown. He was wearing a black t-shirt and a black leather jacket. Black leather pants with chains and leather shoes to go with the look.

"Are you a gangster?" I asked.

"Of course not!" He barked. "I am sure that you are aware of who I am." I gave him a blank look. He looked mad. "I'm Warren, second half of Wes." Oh!

"Oh yeah," I realized.

"Where's the demon?" Warren asked hungrily. I could tell that he like to kill more than Wes liked to save. Poor Wes, I thought, having to put up with such a different being. I was about to answer when there was a loud noise coming from the room Maya was in. Both of us ran towards the room.

Inside there was no one but Maya. She was standing in the middle of the room.

"Maya, what happened?" I asked. "And what happened to your clothing?" Instead of what she had been wearing when she came here, she was wearing a white dress that went all the way to her knees. On her head was a white headband. She was wearing white shoes and had knee-high socks on.

When she turned around, I saw that her hair went all the way to her thighs (her hair is only up to her waist), and there were purple streaks. She looked nothing like Maya, and she was holding a teddy bear. Maya would never look like such a child.

"Who are you?" I asked. I was very confused, but Wes beside me seemed to know exactly who she was.

"Miranda!" Warren exclaimed. "Long time no see. I thought Maya put you in probation."

"She did, but since we discovered something new in our territory, I have been sent as the investigator out her," she replied. "If you answer all my questions then we can all leave here peacefully." She smiled a really scary smile.

"Sorry to kill your buzz but we're about to face a demon in a few minutes, so we can't think about other things right now," Warren yawned. "Wanna help us?"

"Ugh, you and your terrible usage of words," Miranda said in disgust. "Where is this demon that you are going to fight?" Before we could answer her question, there was another crash in the other room.

"Oh my god!" I groaned as we ran to the other room. This time we were met by a person. He didn't look very familiar, but than he did. How weird.

The entire room was trashed. All the computers were broken and all the machinery was in pieces.

"I'm going to be killed!" I whispered. I looked at the person. "Who are you?" The man raised his head and opened his eyes.

"Purple eyes," Miranda gasped. "He's the demon!"

"What's with this strong magic I feel?" Warren asked.

"Nice to meet you, demon," I said.

"It's my pleasure to be the one to terminate you children," the demon hissed. "It's a shame because you all look so young. Haven't even passed your rite of age ceremony yet." This demon seemed very familiar.

"Who says we're going to be the ones dying?" Warren snarled. He had a very vicious attitude. I took a mental note to myself not to make him mad.

"Well, I do have more spawns then you do," the demon said. I still couldn't put my mind on it. Out of nowhere 20 more demons popped out of the air.

"If you were so powerful, then why do you need 20 demon spawns to help you defeat 3 children?" I asked.

"Because I will be busy sucking away your soul!" he said menacingly. I chuckled a little. There was a weird pain in my chest but I ignored it. It was probably nothing.

"Can I handle the spawns?" Warren asked. I nodded my head. He cracked his neck and his knuckles. "Alright! You two sit back and watch the doctor play." He had such a weird way saying stuff. Miranda and I backed up a couple feet.

"Do you really think a weak doctor like you can defeat us demons?" one of the spawns laughed.

"The only things you doctors can do is save people," another snarled. "What kind of doctor are you if you kill?"

"That depends on what type of magic I have," Warren said, still stretching. He stopped and glared at the demon spawns. "If you're so sure that I can't beat you, then attack me!" The demons seemed a bit hesitant because of Warren's glare but the boss demon gave them the order to attack.

They all charged at once. They all struck Warren at once. It was a scary sight. Warren's blood was flying everywhere but he didn't move from his spot. When the demons stopped their attacks, to see what damage they had done. Warren had scratches and was bloody all over. The demons seemed happy at this response. They were about to finish him off when something strange happened.

Warren stood there smiling like a fool. Suddenly his wounds looked like they were healing themselves. A minute later Warren was normal again. Not a single speck of blood in sight.

"Wow!" Every living creature in the room stared in awe. "HOW?????" was the main question.

"Lets just say my little master is more special then most," Warren answered coolly. I looked at Miranda. She was as shocked as I was. Seems like she didn't know about this ability. "Any who, let us continue this fight." He quickly attacked all of them with incredible speed. I couldn't see much, but I saw him hitting them in different points of their body. He stopped and all the demons fell down.

"Boss A-As-s-t-ton!" They stuttered. So Aston was his name, I thought to myself, Why does that name seem so familiar? "L-lord, p-please help us!" Aston seemed as shocked as us.

"What did you do to them!?" Aston growled.

"They're not dead yet," Warren replied. He had on a very annoyed face. "Let me tell you. Demon pressure points are way different then humans. It's so tiring."

"Warren, why didn't you kill them?" Miranda asked.

"Because I wanted to torture them a little more," Warren said. Aston watched us chat. The sting in my chest returned. This time it hurt more than usual. My head also hurt. I fell to my knees from the pain. Warren and Miranda were kneeling beside me worriedly. I began to cough. I coughed into my hand and saw blood.

"Michael, what has gotten into you?" Miranda asked.

"Foxy boy, is it your sickness?" Warren asked.

"Don't call me that," I gasped. Aston began to laugh. "What did you do?"

"Looks like the poison has begun to take effect," Aston sneered.

"What poison?" Warren asked. He was trying to heal me, but he was not doing a good job. Now I know why Wes lets him do the killing, not the saving. He was making it worse.

"The poison I put in his body when he was born of course," Aston answered. He said this like it was obvious. "How stupid of your parents to let a one of my demon infused magic users. They sure are dumb!"

"Shut up!" I coughed. I was getting really dizzy. "Are you so weak that you had to poison me to make me weak?"

"Of course not!" Aston sneered. Everything was getting blurry. "Looks like you're only gonna last an hour or so. Goodnight!" The last thing I saw was the demon waving his hand. Then I lost consciousness.
