*Maia's POV*
"What is going on here?" Everyone was passed out and there was a blonde haired girl sitting on the couch watching us.
"Can't you tell?" The girl stood up and stretched. She tuned to us and as he gaze passed us, it brightened as it fell to our Lord. She smiled and waved to him, but he ignored her.
"Miss, don't you think it's impolite to attack people in their home?" Michael asked.
"I didn't attack them, I merely saved them from doing," was her reply. "May I ask why you and your brother are the?"
"Work," was all Serpent said. He walked around the fainted people and up the stairs. We followed him out of curiosity. As he entered Emma and Julia's room, there was a loud muffled shrieking sound. Emma was not in the room but Julia was, and she seemed to be tied up.
"Julia! Who did this to you?" I asked as I untied her.
"I came upstairs to get some medicine for myself. When I came into the room, I saw that Emma was not in her bed. When I was about to leave the room, Emma came back, but she looked really drained. It looked like she lost all her energy. I asked her what happened and we responded, "I was stopped." She said this with a really creepy face. Then she walked over to the window, and was about to jump when I stopped her. Then she tied me up and ran away," Julia explained in a single breath and pointed to the open window. I motioned her to breathe.
"Are you saying that Emma ran away through the window?" Wes asked. He walked over to the window and stared down. "The bushes seem to be flattened." He turned around. "She really did jump out the window!" Julia gave him an I-told-you-so look.
"Why would she run away?" I asked.
"Because she didn't want to be caught!" The mysterious girl popped up beside me.
"Where did you come from?" I asked her. She ignored me.
"Lord Silverstein, to should really keep your people in check," she scolded him. "Before I stopped her, she looked like she was going to really murder them. People aren't supposed to use their powers for bad uses remember?"
"Why did she do it?" He asked. The continued to talk to each other leaving me, Michael, and Wes out. This conversation was getting really boring. Why are we standing around when our friend had disappeared?
I snuck out if the room. Julia, Wes, and Michael followed me. When we got downstairs, everyone seemed to be back to normal.
"What happened?" They asked. They seemed to have forgotten what had happened. Not very useful for us.
"Nothing much happened," I told them. "You guy just go really drunk and you all passed out. Julia and Wes will make you guys some hangover soup." I shoved the two of them to the kitchen. "I'm taking this kid home." I took Michael by his borrowed clothes and ran out the door.
"Where are we going?" Michael asked. We were walking down the road with no destination. I shrugged at his question. "You don't know where we're going?" I nodded. He hit my head.
"Hey!" I pout. "I'm still older than you. You can't hit me."
"I can do what ever I want!" Michael smirked. He was such bratty kid. "No one can tell what to do and what not to do!"
"Shut up," I rolled my eyes. "Where should we look for Emma?" Michael shrugged.
"We should try her favorite places," Michael suggested. We looked all over the city. Under every bush and tree.
"Let's rest," I panted. I was as tired as hell. It was almost 9:00. I slumped down onto a park bench while Michael fell on top of the grass.
"Fools." I looked up and saw Michael's brother and the mysterious girl. They were smirking down at us.
"At least we tried looking for her," Michael growled. He sat up and wiped the sweat off his forehead. It had been a very hot day.
"She is a person who can use magic," the mysterious girl said. "Do you think she'll hide in this city where she can be found easily?" We thought for a minute, then I realized our mistake. We groaned.
"We have already asked Jackie to find her location,," the girl smiled.
"Thank you miss..." Michael paused and stared up at her. It seems that he also didn't know her name.
"My name is Marisol," the girl smiled. "I am that guy's fiancee!" Michael and my head immediately turned to his brother.
"Snake man's got a fiancee?" I gasped.
"And I didn't know about it?" Michael gasped. He glared at his brother.
"It was arranged while I was away. It has nothing to do with you. Soon this arrangement will be nullified," he said, with hardly any emotion. I looked at Marisol's expression. It was not good.
"Let's go," Lord Serpent said. He waved his hand and disappeared. We did the same. I don't know why we spent all that time running around when we had useful transportation spells in our brains.
*Jack's POV*
I am human now, but I have the best knowledge of human and was in the middle of tracing Emma down, when 4 people dropped into the room. I continued to work, but the young master and Maia were asking a lot of questions.
"Is it true brother is engaged?"
"Why is he engaged?"
"Why didn't he tell me?"
"When did this happen?"
"Who arranged it?""Can you two shut up so I can find the missing person?" I growled at them. They ran away from me and huddled together to gossip some more.
"I have never met such idiotic people," I muttered. I was almost finished with analyzing the results.
"Who's idiotic?" Marisol popped up in front of me.
"You all are!" I yelled in frustration. I banged my hand on my computer. There was a little noise.
'Deleting all files in 10.... 9.... 8....'
"WHAT!!!!!?????" Everyone, but Master, screamed. The computer kept counting down.
'5.... 4.... 3.... 2....'
"Jack!!" I was frantically trying to stop the countdown.
'1.... Countdown Complete! All files deleted!'
My mind stopped.
"What. Just. Happened?" I glared at Marisol. She flinched and ran behind the two idiots. "I. Going. To. Kill. You." I stalked them murderously while they quickly ran away from me.
*Unknown POV*
"What have you been doing?" I growled. "Why haven't you told her yet?"
"Oh shut up," she snarled. "Just cause you already told him doesn't mean that it will be easy for the rest of us."
"That doesn't explain why she's acting this way," the silent boy said. We both glared at him. He was reading his stupid books again.
"He's right," the scary girl said. She glared at us. "Who's fault was it in the first place to show her all those things?" I gulped. "She hates us right now, so we should lay low. If master found out, he would be very disappointed in us." We nodded in agreement. Master was our idol, we don't want to disappoint him, like the last time.
"Where's to the other guy?" I asked.
"Just let him be for now. He has important things to do," the scary girl glared at me again. I think she hates me.
"Let's plan the next attempt."
