*Wes' POV*

Those damned brats left me here! Everyone is ganging up on me, wondering where Emma sent, why Lord Serpent was here, and why he took Maia on a 'trip'.

"I don't know!" was my reply every time I was asked. Right now I am on a romantic date with Hannah, but I am also wondering what has happened to the others. Oh well. They can fend for themselves.

*Emma's POV*

I was regretting my decision of following Aaron. As soon as we walked in the room there was an awkward silence. Staring at my parents and my parents staring back at me.

"Where's Austin?" Aaron asked, breaking the tension.

"He should be soon," my mother answered his question. She turned her face from mine, clearly trying to ignore me. My father, however, was clearly trying to get my attention. He smiled at me and, to his surprise, I smiled back.

"Mother, Father," I said as I curtsied at them. "It has been a while since we've seen each other."

"Who's fault is that?" Mother mumbled angrily. She was such a child.

"Stop acting like a child," Father whispered to her.

"Humph!" She pouted.

"Mother," I said. "Should we put our past aside for this family reunion?"

"Alright fine!," Mother agreed. She turned to me,, her eyes sparkling. "I heard that you went berserk again!" She smiled.

"Mother that is not something to be happy about!" Maria scolded her. "Brother Austin is very late!" We all stared at the clock, then the door.

"He probably had something important to do," I reassured her. Soon we were all enjoying ourselves and interacting. I noticed something odd about Maia. She seemed to have lent her body to Miranda for some reason

"Miranda! You should join the celebration!" I urged her.

"This is so not my style," Miranda replied. I stood silently next to her for a while. "Are you really happy here?" Her question caught me off guard. I stared at her.

"Of course!" I smiled at her. I looked at the clock. "Where in the world is big brother? These heels are killing me!" I sat down in a chair, not far from the door.

"Why are you sitting?" Someone asked me. I turned around in the chair and saw Marisol staring down at me. "Are you tired?"

"Don't worry. I just want to rest. It has been a long time since I dressed up for an event. These heels are slowly rotting my feet!" I whined to her.

"Teacher, you really act childish sometimes," Marisol laughed.

"You don't have to call me teacher anymore," I reminded her. Marisol was my pupil in her younger years.

"You've taught me everything that I've ever known. I think it is honorable for me to be your student for the rest of my life," Marisol smiled.

"That is a long time, you know," I giggled.

"I am forever in your debt," Marisol said and she curtsied at me. My smile fades away, but I force a new one to appear.

"Don't worry," I told her. "This is the one thing that I want you to accomplish for me. I hope you keep your promise." She nodded then went off to talk to Miranda. I sighed as I watched everyone interact with one another.

"To be young," I muttered, watching the youths play with one another.

"Are to jealous?" Someone asked me.
