*Michael's POV*

The cloaked figure pulled down his hood. Maia, Old Park (AKA Grandpa Park), and I gaped at him.

"Happy to see me?" he asked.

"O-Of c-course, S-sir," Old Park stuttered.

"Well, you sure don't look like it," our visitor stated. Everyone stared at the four of us, then back at the figure. After a moment or two, all the magic users in the room gasped and scurried to the furthest edge of the room. Old Park also scurried back dragging Maia, a drunk Wayne, and a very confused Julia with him.

"What an honor it is to see you here Lord Serpent," I bowed at him.

"Oh dear, why are you acting so kind all of a sudden?" he replied. "We are brothers you know." I felt everyone's stares at my back.

"Of course, but I do remember you yelling at me to treat you formally, so there you go bro," I smirked. He walked over to me and smacked my head. I successfully dodged his attack. "Anyways, why are you here? You're scaring my friends." I looked at the people huddled by the wall. It looks like Julia, Jack, Wayne, and Kate fainted from too many drinks.

"I'm here to bring you home and to visit someone," my brother replied.

"That person isn't home," I said quickly.

"How would you know?" he asked.

"Because she left the house ten minutes after we started the party," I replied.

"Who are you looking for?" Old Park asked.

"Isn't that obvious?" brother asked. Everyone shook their heads.

"He's looking for-"

"Me," the voice came from behind brother. We all scurried to his side to see who had spoken up. There stood a tired looking Emma carrying a bag of sandwiches. "Right?" She tilted her head, waiting for an answer.

"Good afternoon," brother said.

"I'm sorry, but we're having a little celebration, as you can see," she waved her hands at the room.

"You weren't even attending," Maia muttered. Emma ignored her.

"Could you please leave?" Emma continued. She looked really pale and tired. Her hand that carried the sandwiches was shaking, but not from fear. Emma never shook from fear.

"I'm afraid not," my brother replied.

*Emma's POV*

"Serpent, I asked you politely," I said. My head was aching and I could not deal with this right now.

"And I declined you politely," he replied. This man is really ticking me off. "By the way, I thought I told you not to call me Serpent." I glared at him and he glared back. So frustrating!!!

"Brother, why do you insist on staying?" Michael asked him. "We can go home now."

"I have a message to deliver from a young man named Austin Daring to Emmaline Daring," he stated. I perked up.

"What'd he say?" I asked excitedly, my headache disappeared.

"I thought you wanted me to leave," he said. I smacked his head, everyone gasped. I looked at them than dragged Serpent up the stairs to my room.

"Now tell me," I said excitedly. I bounced on my bed like a little girl.

"He says that he's coming back soon and that he wants to see you first," Serpent smiled.

"Yay!!" I cheered. "Thanks Aaron!!" I hugged him. "Now get out." I pointed to the door.

"Why?" Aaron asked. "I haven't seen you in three years and this is how you treat me?"

"I don't feel well and I want to get better before brother gets back," I pushed out the door.

"Are you sick?" he asked, sounding concerned.

"I don't think it's anything that sleep won't fix," I replied. "Come get me before he arrives." With that I pushed him out the door. I, happily, skipped to my bed and slowly fell asleep. That's when the nightmares took over.

*Emma's Nightmare*

I stood in a very dark room. There seemed to be no one but me. I looked around the room.

"Hello princess," a voice said to me.

"What do you want?" I asked, startled.

"Nothing much," the voice answered. "I just want to hear you scream and cry and whimper." There was a loud growling. I felt something behind me, but when I turned around there was nothing.

"Don't try looking for me," the voice purred. "You will never find me." My head turned to the part of the room where the voice seemed to be bouncing off of.

"Where are you?" I called out.

"Would you like to see something interesting?" the voice asked, ignoring my question. Out of no where, a big screen came up. The image on the screen was a blonde haired man, that looked exactly like my brother.

"Brother?" I whispered. The corpse whimpered and I flinched. The whimper sounded painful and sorrowful. It hurt my heart, but I didn't know why.

"Stop!" I heard the corpse growl. "Don't!" The room was getting really cold but I didn't notice. My head was hurting like hell. I clasped my head and dropped to my knees. The voices in my head kept multiplying and multiplying.

"Stop it!" I scream out. My head felt like it was splitting in multiple directions.

"I t looks like our princess has broken her barrier!" the voice cackled. I felt chills along my spin. I spun around, expecting to see someone pop out, but there was no one.

"Where are you?" I screeched. I was going insane. When ever I heard the voice I would try to catch the culprit, but they never showed up.

"The best part is coming," the voice sang. The was a loud scream from the screen. My brother lookalike was writhing in pain. I felt a stinging in my heart. I saw a knife pierce the man. That's when I finally let go of my sanity.

*Maia's POV*

"What are we supposed to do now?" I whispered. We were all huddled on the couches and sofas, all eyes on the stairs. I nudged Michael for a response.

"I dun't know," he shrugged. "Just because he's my brother doesn't mean I know how to read his mind."

"What do we do about these drunks?" Teddy whispered. He was poking his sleeping sister.

"Go stuff them in my room," I whispered back. He did as I said. We were still waiting for Emma and Lord Serpent to come down. It was not a short wait, so we watched a movie and relaxed with our drinks. Michael and I weren't allowed to drink.

There was a creak at the top of the stairs which caused us all to jump. Down came the cloaked figure. Emma was not with him. We watched him slowly walk down the stairs. When he quickly jerked his head in our direction we all flinched.

"I need to talk to you, you, and you," he pointed to me, Michael, and Wes. We followed him outside into the garden. We probably looked like scared ducklings following a scary fox.

"Give it to me," he said. He held his hand out to Wes. Wes tilted his head confused. "The doll." Wes took the demon doll out and handed it to the lord. Serpent Lord looked over the doll and sighed. "Tell me the whole story." We all told him what happened because we were afraid to anger him.

".... and that's what happened," Michael finished. Wes was about to speak when there was an enormous amount of screaming coming from the house. We all rushed inside.

There stood a fair lady.

All dressed in black.
