**~**~** Lexi's POV **~**~**
I went back inside the PAC with Jesus and sat down at the piano.
"Is everything okay? Was someone trying to get in?"
"What? Oh. Uh, no. The door was cracked open a bit and the wind blew it open and slammed it."
"Oh. Okay."
"Yeah."
It was silent for a bit.
"Well..." He started saying. "Do you want to finish it off here then?"
"Uh... Sure I guess. We don't have anything else to practice do we?"
"No. I don't think so."
"Okay. Then yeah. I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah. Sure thing." He said and smiled.
I got up and grabbed my backpack and walked towards the back door.
I walked out and started walking home.
As I was walking, the image of Brandon walking away with balled fists, played in my mind.
When I got closer to home, I decided that I was going to stop by Brandon's house and see if he's okay.
***** 15 minutes later *****
I got on my street and walked past my house first. My mom won't be home until later on so I'm going just straight to Brandon's.
I got in front of his door and knocked on it a few times.
There was no answer, so I knocked again and rang the door bell a couple of times.
I heard foot steps and next thing you know the door swung open and Brandon was standing there in workout sweats and no shirt with a towel wrapped around his neck and he was sweaty.
I looked at him up and down really quickly and opened my mouth to try to say something, but nothing came out.
"What you doing here?" He asked a little abrupt, but tried to seem puzzled.
"I uh... I came to see if you were okay and what you were doing." I said while trying not to stare at his abs that I hadn't noticed before.
"Oh. Well I'm fine. And I was working out."
"Oh. Well... cool."
"Yeah."
"Yeah..." I said and put my hand on my other arm.
"Was there anything else you needed?" He asked and leaned on the door frame.
"Um... Is it okay if I come in?"
"Uh... Sure. I guess."
He moved out of the way of the doorway and let me come in.
"What were you working out for?" I asked and faced his direction.
"It helps me with stress and anger." He said and just looked at me.
"Why are you angry?"
"Saw something I didn't expect to see earlier." He said and crossed his arms.
"And... what was that?" I asked and looked at him.
"... I think you know what that is...."
I just stared at him.
"... W-what do you mean?..." I said and shuffled a bit.
"... Well... How is Jesus by the way?..." He said and started pacing.
