Defiance flashed through the forest, pelt dappled with shades of gray. She hissed, pelting towards her lair, kicking up layers of leaf mold. She slid under the thick bush, into the rabbit warren, darkness swallowing her up. Defiance padded for a while in the claustrophobic tunnels, having memorized the layout, and turned into a somewhat lighter tunnel. It opened into a large caveish section with a small hole in the roof that let some light in. She looked around her sandy cave with satisfaction, scraping her claws over the stone with a satisfactory screech. Defiance snorted, padding over to her nest, which was slightly strange. Instead of moss, she used the pelts of dead cats. She smiled and curled herself into a smallish ball, muttering to herself. "I wonder how much trouble I'll need to cause before those idiots discover my intentions...." She whispered to herself, whittling down a piece of sharp bone. Defiance shrugged, resting her head and she fell asleep.

The day was going horribly for Sunshine. First of all, it was raining. Rain sucks. Then, her mouse got away. She was supposed to be the best hunter in the forest, according to herself at least. And then came the worst. Some weirdo homicidal cat had just attacked her..... Honestly.
As the moon rose high in the sky, she sat under the tree, licking her wounds. Sunshine soon fell into a light sleep, curled in a shallow dip the the ground.
Sunshine woke up, breathing heavily. The apprentice-aged rogue cursed herself for not cleaning herself throughly before she fell asleep. Although she was young, she knew the tell-tale scent of infection. Hopefully.... Juuuuust hopefully she wasn't infected. She sniffed her wounds and sighed, mentally clawing herself. A sweet, rotten fruit-y scent clung to the wounds. Sunshine hunt her head and whispered to herself, "I'm doomed...." She sunk lower and lower, almost melting herself into the ground. What she didn't realize, was that she was on clan territory.

Scarredheart and Meadowcreek padded into the vibrant forest, dew catching on their pelts. The day was new and sunshine slid through the trees, making patterns on the ground. Meadowcreek turned to her friend, meowing, "Wanna have a hunting challenge?"
Of course, she knew that Scarredheart wouldn't back down from a challenge and that she was a very good hunter, but Meadowcreek had something sneaky up her sleeve- rather, her paw.
Scarredheart snorted, "You're on!"
"We meet back here once the sun reaches quarter point."
The two friends nodded and peeled off, searching for prey.
Meadowcreek slipped through the forest, silent on her paws. Her ears were pricked up straight and her eyes were narrowed in the way that Ink taught her. Her mouth was slightly open, scenting for prey. Just a little bit further. She thought, looking for the small stash of prey hidden under a bush. Yes, she knew it wasn't very sportsmanship-y, but who cares? She wanted to win and win she would. Meadowcreek gave out a growl of triumph, poking her head under a bush and immediately drawing it out again. Rogue! Her mind screeched at her and she unsheathed her claws, snarling. The bush didn't move, neither did the rogue. She cautiously poked her head into the bush and saw that the rogue was asleep and had multiple open wounds that stank of twoleg garbage. Meadowcreek dragged out the cat, still slightly cautious. The cat gave a feeble cough, blinking open her eyes.
-------------------------------------------------------
Sunshine snarled, staring up at the cat who brought her into the open. She moved to attack the cat but ended up shrinking even more in the ground. Great, she thought, I can't even move on my own.
"H-help...... Plea-please?" Sunshine coughed. The cat looked down at her in curiosity, her eyes swiping over her wounds.
"Alright, IF you tell me who you are and why in the name of StarClan you are here."
"I- I'm Sunshine. I was hunting outside of your borders w-when a weird cat with black fur attacked me. I started running and passed out under this bush." Sunshine mewed feebly, feeling incredibly small and defenseless. Maybe that's because she was small and defenseless.
To her relief, after what seemed like an eternity of thinking, the cat spoke.
"Okay Sunshine. I'm Meadowcreek. I'm in ThunderClan. You clearly need our medicine cat and we need information on the Shadow-Cat. I'll take you back to the camp." Meadowcreek meowed, carrying Sunshine on her back.
-------------------------------------------------------
What did I get myself into? Meadowcreek thought, padding out of the Medicine Cat den, exhausted. And now, I'll have to deal with Ink too.... Meadowcreek cursed herself before passing to the freshkill pile and grabbing a well-deserved squirrel. As she sat on a warm rock, a dark shadow padded across the clearing, unnoticed by the others. She quickly ate her squirrel, preparing herself for the punishment that lay ahead.
"Meadowcreek!" Ink snarled, his yellow eyes narrowed in anger.
"Yes Ink." Meadowcreek responded, a glint of anger in her eye. How dare he speak to me like that? I'm twice his size AND I can beat him in a fight. She thought angrily.
"What were you doing, helping that rogue. You should have killed it and walked away."
"I don't have to do whatever you say Ink. I do have my own free will."
This answer was greeted by a snarl as he leapt at Meadowcreek, pinning her to the ground.
"Ink!" She snarled through gritted teeth, "We're in camp! Do this somewhere else." Ink growled at her and she raced out of camp, far ahead of him. He leapt up into the trees and ran, branch to branch, high in the trees. Ink jumped down, fore paws landing on her shoulders. Meadowcreek yelped, pinned beneath Ink.
"Never, and I mean never talk like that again!"
"What're you gonna do, big guy. Tickle me to death?" Meadowcreek coughed.
Ink grinned, placing his paws over her neck. She choked, kicking him in the belly, her claws unsheathed. Ink fell off of her, a scowl on his face. Meadowcreek yowled, leaping at him, claws extended. He ducked, lashing out at her chest. The claws made contact and she hissed, twitching her ears. She pelted towards him, slashing his muzzle before running to camp.
