As light filtered through the bush, Meadowcreek groaned in her sleep. She squeezed her eyes closed, wishing for a few more minutes of sleep. Somecat's paw slapped her hard and she growled. "Get up mousebrain," Scarredheart meowed. She rolled over, looking up at the shecat. "What now? Are we being attacked?" Meadowcreek sighed.
"No silly, we're training."
"Now?! It's like, dawn. Why now?" Meadowcreek whined, tired from her night of secret training. Scarredheart chuckled, clearly amused by her kit-like attitude. "It's nearly sun-high. Get up." At this Scarredheart kicked her roughly in her side. Meadowcreek moaned, standing up slowly. She was bleeding from one ear and had multiple scars across her body. Scarredheart looked at the marks across her body and shrugged, turning around and padding out of the den.
Meadowcreek snarled, facing off her older opponent. Scarredheart flicked her tail rapidly, assessing Meadowcreek for weaknesses. The two cats circled, dust filling the air. Scarredheart lunged, outstretched paws reaching for Meadowcreek's head. Meadowcreek skipped lightly to the side, spinning and holding down her opponent. She raised her head high, preparing to snap her jaws across Scarredheart's throat before she gasped in horror. Meadowcreek blinked, cursing her stupidity, she might have exposed herself. She turned and fled into the territory, disappearing into the green and red leaves of leaf-bare.

Meadowcreek sighed, dropping into her improvised hunters crouch. She crouched, mouth slightly ajar and eyes narrowed, ears angled back. He had taught her the best way to catch prey. She cracked a smile and padded slightly forwards, scenting a vole so late in the season. She avoided all twigs and leapt, pinning the rodent beneath her paws. Meadowcreek nipped the back of it's neck and picked it up along with the thrush, trotting back towards camp. It's a good thing I haven't seen shadow-cat, she thought, glancing behind herself. She shrugged and padded into camp, dropping the the prey on the freshkill pile. Meadowcreek smiled quickly at Moonstar before padding into the warriors den. Sleep was rare now that he was training her. Meadowcreek curled up in her nest, hoping to sleep without intervention, but of course, he had to wake her up.

The shadowy forest was misty tonight, making it even more ominous. Meadowcreek shuddered, glancing at the dark shape that was padding towards her.
"Hello Ink." She mewed, dipping her head.
"Hello Meadow. I should hope you're ready for training." The cat growled.
Meadowcreek flexed her claws into the leafmold, glancing at him. He nodded and she stood up on her hind claws and swiped up at the sky. She dropped down, getting into a crouch. Meadowcreek sprung up into the air, catching her claws on a thick branch. She hauled herself up, standing shakily on the branch. Ink had gotten himself up, his black tail twitching. She growled, motioning with her tail for him to get nearer. He yowled and leapt at her and she rolled under him, swiping her claws over his belly. He clung onto the branch, nodding. She glared at him before padding towards the trunk. Ink snarled but she ignored him, climbing the trunk quickly and skillfully. She lashed her tail above him, dropping into his back and slicing him. She knew that he would submit before her sight became dizzy and she started waking up......-------------------------------------------------------
