As Raven walked through the forest she was not paying attention to any thing, but she should be, she padded slowly through the snow and then out of no where came a gunshot. Raven looked at where it came from; a hunter of course. The bullet struck her leg as she winced in pain. She needed to run! She needed to escape! The hunter started slowly walking though the knee deep snow, Raven got up and bolted, her paw pads stretched out as far as they could so that they can be used as snow shoes for her. Holding her tail up high, her ears listening for sounds of other hunters. Her leg throbbing in pain. She got at least far enough away to be unseen from the hunter, she hid in a bush and fell to her side, looking out of the bush in the direction that she came she saw a trail of blood. Shoot, the hunter will find me in a matter of time... That moment a white wolf burst into the bush, Ravens vision blurred and then slowly darkness engulfed her vision.

Raven woke up in warmth, her leg hurting even more, she jumped up and Raced to run out of the door, it was locked,  no no no! The hunter is planning for me to be his food... I have to escape! Raven looked back and saw three humans, one boy with brown hair sitting on a couch about the age 14 she guessed, the second sitting at a table eyeing Raven rudely, the third sitting on the floor with grayish hair and very kind eyes... He sat by a blanket with a bullet and a bandage by it. What? Who are these people?
"It's okay, we all are one of you too" the man sitting on the floor spoke kindly.
Raven tilted her head to one side, do they know I'm wolf-Kin? No they mustn't.
"We are wolf-kin, like you" he spoke again
They are lying! I'm not going to listen to them.
Raven stared at them with challenging eyes. Then with a tilt of the mans head they all turned into wolves. The kid turned into a dark brown wolf, the girl, or mom at the table turned into a light grey wolf, and the man turned into a white wolf.
Him!
"See?" The white wolf said.
Raven nodded.
"Now come here so I can wrap up your leg." He said turning back into a human. (Btw they have the clothes on before they turned into the wolf after they turn back)
Raven nodded again, this time walking over so the man could wrap her leg in bandage. After he was done she looked around the house.
Wait a second... That guy, I know him!
"Mr.Lykos" Raven whimpered her leg still hurting.
"Hm?" He said "wait how did you know me?"
"I'm... I just do" Raven said I'm your student.
"Only one thing matters, how did you become a teacher without others finding out that your wolf-kin?" Raven asked
"Well... They just don't" he said
"But they do tests to tell! And they would know and not let you live!"
"People don't like wolf-Kin. And I passed the tests"
"How? It's impossible"
"They only take your blood, there is a syrup that will hide the wolf part of your blood, they think I'm 100% human"
Raven looked surprised, how did he find out that? How many more people I know are secretly wolf-kin?
"You know they test the students too..." Raven said
"Ah, they do. But your not a student there" mr. Lykos said
"What if I was?" Raven questioned.
The mother of the 'pack' stood up
"West, don't waste your time on her, she probably just a spy. Don't share too much information." She warned
"She can't do much harm?" West defended Raven.
"Who are these people?" Raven asked
"This is my wife, Clare, and my son Dusty."
Raven padded around, still in wolf form. Holding up her leg so that it did not hurt. She jumped onto a couch and whimpered as she hid her leg lightly.
"You may want to rest here" Mr. Lykos, now known as West said
"I-I'd rather not..." Raven said shyly.
"Why not?" West asked his yellow eyes looking at Raven
"I- I don't know... Maybe it's better if I leave" Raven said her yellow eyes roaming anywhere but Wests eyes.
"It's winter, plus it's warm in here" West said "you can stay as a wolf if you'd like" he said.
"Fine" Raven said as she made herself comfy on the brown couch.
She had made a nest with the blanket and tucked her nose under a part of it.
"Your a small wolf... Your a kid?" West asked.
"Yep" Raven said.
They say in silence for a moment then West got up and got a blanket and laid it on Raven. Then he left to go hunting, the kid Dusty went up to his room, and Claire started making supper for us.
"Theirs not going to be much for you, your not going to stay here you know" she said rudely.
Raven just rested quietly.
