"We need to leave now marry" Adam whispered looking around as if someone were listening , "leave? what are you talking about?" marry said very confused. "Come with me with now and ill explain everything ". "But Im at work i cant just leave what if... " marry stopped paused and thought for a moment about the situation. A stranger is here, came in beat up, with no money and he's telling me i need to leave with him, this is so strange I wonder if I.. "So are you coming with me or not?" Marry's thoughts were interrupted by adams question. She looked around the diner and then out the window at the almost empty parking lot. "Ok" she sighed reluctantly. Adam smiled, he got up and marry slowly followed behind him, the bell clanged once more, marry locked the door behind them and then they were off down the country road.
It was the beginning of the summer everything was green, the scenery was one of the pluses to living in meadow NC. So much country (you'd have to love having lots of land to live there) and animals, farms, people with cellphones and nice cars just didn't exist. "This might be a little hard to grasp" Adam finally broke the silence. "are you sure you'll be able to handle it." he looked in her eyes for a moment. "I left my job to go on a ride with a complete stranger who came to the diner all beat up, it doesn't matter what the hell it is or if I can handle it, spit it out!"she said. "Oh calm down marry I'll make this quick just for you" Adam said as he put both knees on the wheel while he reached in the back seat. He had grabbed the briefcase he had back the diner, and handed it to marry as he took the wheel again. "the combination is 261" . She quickly entered the the three digit code and opened it. She looked at it for a moment and then pulled it out. she held a small square thinnish little box with a little keyhole on top. She reached back in the briefcase and pulled out a little key. "whats inside?" she said almost feeling like a kid again. "Inside that box is a very important disk Marry, and as long as it stays in that box it will be safe, that little box is made from chromium metal its practically unbreakable". "What does this disk have to do with me? whats on it?". Adam smiled. "Well Marry if you just let me finish I was getting to that". He looked into her eyes and he began to speak again "you see...... BEEP BEEEEEEEEPPP! "Look out for that truck!!!" marry yelled but it was to late. Everything went black..
