Marry had just arrived at the Diner where she worked by herself everyday seven days a week in the deserted town of Meadow North Carolina. "God i hate this place" Marry said out loud. The tiny diner had just three tables, nine booths a jukebox in the corner, a single bathroom and a small kitchen. The place looked like it had been untouched in weeks, you could hear a pen drop it was so quiet. She was so lonely, no one ever came in just to talk, well no one really came in at all but when they did all they wanted to do was eat and be on there way. She sat in one of the empty booths staring out the big glass window looking into to the empty parking lot. A few hours went by and she was so bored, and so tired that she could barely keep her eyes open and before she knew it she fell asleep. (CLANG) Marry jumped out of her sleep the bell above the door had clanged and in walked a young man maybe 6 feet tall (a rather lanky man) he had brown eyes and hair with bruises and a cut on his face. "oh hello sir! can i fix you up some breakfast?" she asked without paying any attention to the mans beaten up appearance. "yeah that sounds great" he replied as he rifled through his pocket. "how much can ninety cents get me?" marry laughed "not much, but don't worry it'll be on the house, i don't get to cook quite often" she sai. "Great" said the man "I'm just going to use the restroom and clean up" Marry watched as the young man accompanied by a briefcase walked to the bathroom. Wonder what happened to him she thought as she fired up the grill. She cracked open two eggs and put a couple pieces of bacon on the grill, made fresh coffee and two pieces of toast. "order up!" she said and almost instantly the strange man in a new pair of clothes(all black) and freshly combed hair opened the door and came over to the booth where marry sat with the food. He started to eat. "so what brings you to meadow?" marry asked. "just traveling" he replied. "well its nice to have someone to talk to for once, sometimes i go days without seeing anyone in this place, and when people do come they don't want any conversation". She looked out the window and pointed at  the old red antique looking mustang with a surfboard tied to the top, "do you surf?" she asked. "no I don't, its not my car i borrowed it from a friend" he replied quickly. "really, its kind of weird your friend let you borrow the car with his surfboard still attached especially when you don't even surf, and whats with the black eye and cut on your face, are you in some kind of trouble?" "No I'm not" the man yelled in a very loud roar. "Im sorry" he apologized "Im not in any kind of trouble, thanks for the food it was great" marry somewhat shocked from his outburst picked up his plate and brought it to the back. Moments later she came back out. "I never caught your name" said marry as she came back out from the back sliding back into the booth where the stranger sat. "My name is Adam" he replied in a much softer tone. "And theres something serious I would like to discuss with you" Marry's eyes lit up with excitement. "Oh serious?" she said well what is it?"
