I sighed heavily knowing she wouldn't stop calling until I forgave her. She can be so annoying sometimes. Which makes me wonder what did I ever see in her? Sure she's a nice and intelligent woman but, I just don't think I can deal with this.

Massaging my temples, I cleared my throat, stopping Gemma from her rant. "Gem, I have to go. I have some business to take care of. Obviously, you must have forgotten I'm at work. We can finish this discussion later maybe but, until then I have to go." I said which was half true. I am at work and I don't really have anything to do considering I did everything I needed to do except a few paper work. I just don't want to continue this conversation.
