The day the wall fell

Back to the years full of peace, before the wall fell and started the war that seems never ending~

I woke up startled by unsettling noises. I shuffled my body on my bed in the light purple sheets that I owned. The noise went off again so I jumped out of bed and ran to the living room out of breath. "Mom! Did you hear that?" I spoke quickly barely even time to catch my breath. "What are you talking about it's a quiet morning?" She looked at me puzzled. "Any way go outside like a normal child and play." She chuckled shoving me out the door. "HEY IM HUNGRY!" she closed the door before she registered what I said. I guess she heard me after all cause she opened the door and shoved bread in my mouth and shut the door again. "Classy mom, real classy." I groaned taking a bite of the bread. "AGHHH WHY DOES THIS THING TASTE TERRIBLE!" I ate the rest quickly not to savour in the flavor. Now what did she want me to do....Oh right...play. I threw a basket ball and it hit the ground. "Hah I suck. MOM! I'M GOING TO GO BE WEIRD.".I called to my mom outside hoping she heard me. I heard the noise again so I ran towards the walls. The noise continued, actually getting louder the closer I got. I put my ear towards the wall and heard titans. "Woah." I awed at the sound I never had heard before. There are a lot more then usual, I should say something to the Military police. I opened my mouth to speak but my side was met by a foot which caused me to cough out any idea of speaking. I put down my hand under me and picked my self up a bit. "HEY! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" I growled at the guard and was kicked again, this time i was kicked by under and flew back hitting the wall. "O-ow." I coughed out some blood. "No sissy women should be concerned about the walls or what's outside them." He laughed right in my face. "Yo-you will see." I groaned but noticed my body didn't hurt anymore. I ignored it I had to warn them. They wouldn't listen to me because I was a girl. What can I do so they will listen. I looked around and saw a piece of glass. I have to, no. I will! I grabbed the glass and my hair. I drove the glass across my hair cutting every strand. I dropped the hair I had cut off and looked at my reflection in the glass. I walked back to the officer "THERE ARE A LOT MORE TITANS THEN USUALLY OUTSIDE OF THE WALL!" I shouted at him but he did not move. He just looked up with the most horrific face I have seen. I hesitantly looked up to see the biggest Titan I have ever seen. "W-what." I fell back a bit. "Run kid!" The military police officer spoke and started running away. "YOU GOT IT." I ran towards my house when I heard the loudest noise i have ever heard. I covered my ears and was thrown back by the blast. I got up from the rubble and started running towards my home. "MOM! MOM!" I kept running, people kept screaming titans we're in the city. I kept running seeing huge rocks that had fallen on people. I stopped looking at the titan a few meters in front of me. It was picking up someone to eat, Someone who had been crushed. A woman. The Titan bit her causing blood to shower the area. The Titan turned and I was horrified. "YOUR DISGUSTING GARBAGE!" I started running. That smile forever staining my brain. I started crying at the fact my mom was dead, but I couldn't just stand there and die too.

"I swear on my name I will use all my strength to avenge the woman that was eaten and my mother." And with that I continued to the boats that take you to the other walls. I tripped over something causing me to tumble. I thought it was a rock but it was a stuffed animal and a bit ahead of it was a little girl. I grabbed the stuffed animal and picked up the little girl when I stood up again. "I will save us both I will I swear!" My legs bled with all the falling I have done. They shook with all the fear i had. I kept running as fast as I could to the boats when I reached them the last boat was full. I looked at the child and handed it to someone on the boat. "At least one of us will survive." I chuckled. "Or both" I jumped into the water and swam next to the boat under the water. Looking up under the water as the gates opened and let us in. I breached the water and took a deep breath. I crawled to land and panted trying to breathe. "My life is great." I said sarcasticly when someone above me laughed and I looked up to see some guy. "Have a nice swim young man? You should join the survey corps, With that swim stunt you pulled it would be great to have someone with guts protecting us." He laughed again and I looked up and nodded. He was really drunk and reeked of alcohol. "Thanks sir means a lot." Young man? Oh right I cut my hair. I got up and squeezed my shirt to kind of dry it and the drunk guy tried to help so I ran away "fuken pedo!" I screeched and ran away. I reached a weird empty space behind an alley way. "Hello new home, nice to meet you." I fell down onto the floor and pointed upwards "I will avenge you. I will I promise!" I passed out cause of blood loss but woke up shortly after. I ripped the sleeves off my shirt to bandaged my wounds with them. A few days passed and my wounds had healed. I walked myself to the survey corps training and that's when it all began.
