You're Not Forgotten!

Hi there! I saw your request for an update and felt HORRIBLE, especially when I logged in and saw that you've actually asked TWICE. Please know that you are on my mind daily and that I am going to be better about posting here. I honestly thought you weren't reading it much anymore but knowing that you do will keep me going. 

I got some of your school pics! Your mom sent me three- one large one is on display on a shelf in our house, another is hanging in my office at work and the third Grandma Linda carries in her wallet. Everyone is saying how they can't get over how much you've grown and what a beautiful girl you are (and I agree). When I look at pictures of you from your early childhood I can't believe how the years have flown by. I hope you are still drawing and writing- those are talents you should not waste. 

Nothing new here. We moved into a new house, closer to Toledo, in August. I think I told you about that. We like it a lot, it's much quieter than our old neighborhood. Lily is doing well, she loves to cuddle and is now hooked on soft food. Twice a day she meows up a storm till I give her some all mashed up on a plate (she's a bit of a diva). Joe Boxer turns 8 in three days. I have mixed feelings about this because I'm glad that I've had all these years with him but it's also a reminder that time is flying and that he's technically a senior dog now- not that he acts like one. He romps and plays with Maggie (our pit bull) and to watch him run you'd think he was a young pup. In fact, the two of those little scammers got into some cupcakes I had made on Halloween. We were outside passing out candy and I came in and found cupcake wrappers EVERYWHERE...and a loaf of bread with tooth marks in it. They had gotten them off the counters and had themselves quite the snack. Lol. 

I miss you all the time. I wish you could tell me what was going on with you. I talk to your mama often and she updates me but hearing from you is best. I miss you very much. I hope things are going well for you and that life is shaping up to be everything you wanted it to be. I'm so proud of how you've grown. I talk about you all the time and am always showing off your picture.
