It's been awhile since I posted and that's my fault. I got caught up in losing Meredith and work and preparing for Thanksgiving. You're still always on my mind. I hope school is going well and that you're happy and content. I have been wondering lately what new music you have been listening to and wanted to recommend a couple more artists/songs that I like. Doesn't mean you'll like them too but you might :)
-We As Human (I saw them live in October- my favorites are Take The Bullets Away feat. Lacey Sturm and also Bring To Life)
-I've been listening to Crystal Castles lately too- my favorite is Not In Love feat. Robert Smith from The Cure. So good. If you look for it on YouTube under the user Nanalew, the video is fantastic. She's an amateur and she made it herself.
I decorated for Christmas the day after Meredith died (Nov. 1st) to get my mind off of things. One thing that comes out every year is a picture of you as an infant with a tag on you that says, "Open Me First!" I also have an ornament with your picture in it from when you were two or three and several things you made me in school for Christmas that I always bring out. Of course, there are always picture of you hanging in our house even when it isn't Christmas. I need to get updated school pics because right now you're frozen in time as a ten year old! :)
Megan had her baby on November 16th. Phoebe Kate. She's adorable, maybe you saw pics on Instagram. I am one proud auntie.
I loved seeing your Instagram pictures. You are becoming such a beautiful girl and I am so proud and happy to see how lovely and talented you are. I wish we were still able to hang out and talk so I could keep up with your life and how everything is going! I hope you are remembering things I have told you and continuing to be your own person and not letting anyone tell you that you should be anything other than you.
Also, if I was able to see you you could teach me how to apply my eyeliner because I sure suck at it, even at 32. LOL!
