We walk through town in silence. After a while, Asher breaks the comfortable silence. "Is it always this deserted here?" I laugh nervously before answering. "No, it's normally full of people. I don't know why there is nobody here." He looks over at me before saying, "Are there a lot of kids here? You know, around our age?" Say yes. If not he'll think this is a place full of old people. But then again, there aren't many kids here anyway. "Danny?" It's then I realize I haven't said anything yet, and I feel myself get red. "No there aren't many kids here, not our age, that is." He continues to stare at me. I wave a hand in front of his face. "Hello? Asher?" That seemed to wake him out of his random trance. "Huh, oh sorry. I didn't mean to space out." "It's fine, hey do you want to go have lunch?" I ask him seeing as it was already noon. I wait for his reply patiently, not trying to seem giddy or jumpy. "Sure, it's on me." I start to protest when he says, "No, your already showing me around, it's the least I could do." I nod and say my thanks, when he asked me where a good place is, I lead him to my favorite place, 'Old Diner Inn'.

"So, how old are you?" Asher asks me, after we order our meals. "I'm 17, but I'm turning 18 in two weeks." He looks at me like I have just grown two heads, shakes off whatever was in his mind and says "Cool, I'm 19." 'Internally fans myself' He is 19! Totally able to date you! Woah why the hell are you thinking that?! I just met the guy! I scold myself for thinking something like that, then say, "Nice." From there on its just friendly questions from the both of us, and I found out he lives down the street from me. I wonder what'll happen now that he knows where I live. I'll tell you something, it definitely not this...
