Hey. My name is Nathan Damar, male, and recently turned 17(A/N pronounced as Dah-ma-r), I'm here to talk about my story, the day I was given a gift. This gift changed me and allowed to help others, but I had a problem, I am seen as a bad guy by the city's greatest hero. Long story short, I had big problems. Let me explain how my story started...
It was the day the Particle Accelerator was starting up. A whole new invention that could change the future. What better way to spend that important event than swimming in my own outdoor pool. I float in the middle of my pool, face upwards. Demi Lovato's popular song 'Heart Attack' was playing from the radio hooked up to an outlet outside. I am an idiot for not removing an outlet near a pool, it was a bad mistake... the lousiest mistake ever. Anyways, my favourite past time is swimming, obviously that's why I have an outdoor pool. Water is probably the best cure for my sadness or anger, it feels like it clears my problems, purifies me, or even just a refresher. I gaze in the distance toward where the Particle Accelerator is.
Suddenly, a beam of light fills the sky with a glow. Staring for a few moment, I realize a pulse of light was heading toward me. That's when everything started to go wrong.Dark clouds began gathering all over the sky as far as the eye can see. Moments later, the pools water started to rise into the air.
"What the hell!" I shout when the liquid rose even higher.
Quickly, I try to swim out, but the water was disorienting. I couldn't tell if I was grabbing air or water. Then as soon as the it rose, it all dropped back down splashing everywhere. That when my mistake took its toll. The water landed all over the deck, causing the outlet to short out and electrocute the water. In turn, the electricity was able to shock me, making me spasm in pain as it began stopping my heart. Talk about 'Heart Attack'. That's when something else happened, a bolt of lighting struck me.
Then everything goes dark.
