Today's Friday. Three days has passed since I met up with Emma, still she hasn't called me yet. All this new stuff is making me so restless that I have an extremely hard time sleeping at night. Too much has changed since I had been in a coma, not enough things stayed the same. I pace back and forth in my room waiting for Emma's call. During the time I was waiting for, I've done some research about the Flash. A blog I found posted by a woman named Iris West, had a lot of info about the blur, or streak as she calls him. Supposedly, the superhuman is able to run at impossible speeds, which I confirmed with my own eyes. Nobody knows who exactly who he is, but he runs around central city saving people in danger. I plan on figuring out who he is, and why we got our abilit-

I fumble for my phone in my pants pockets, not able to find it there I realize it was in my sweater pockets. I grab it and press the answer button.
"Hello?"
"It's Emma, I believe I'm ready for testing your cryogenic abilities. Sorry for taking so long, I had to apply for a position at a private lab."
"Did you tell anybody about my powers?" I asked worriedly.
"Not really..." Her voice trails.
"What do you mean not really!" I question her further.
"Well... It my have slipped from my mouth that you were special, BUT don't worry the lab only has four people!"
"And how does that make me happier?"
"Well I think their trustworthy, just wait until you meet them!" Emma persists.
"Fine." I give in so we won't argue for ages, "So are we going now?"
"Yeah. I'll drive to your house right now, see you when I get there!"
She hangs up the call not even one second after finishing her sentence. She's excited, it was my choice to tell her about this, now I'll just have to live with it. I grab my wallet from the kitchen table just in case I need money. I know I'll need it. Emma will probably force me to go shopping with her after we're done. Then she'll make me buy whatever she wants. She is pretty predictable when it comes to hanging out, always eager to buy new cloths. I glance at my wristwatch. Only thirteen more minutes until she arrives, like I said, predictable.

Emma already picked me, we're on our way to whatever lab she bringing us to. She owns a pretty decent red car, though I have no clue what type it is because I'm not much of a car person. For all I know it could be a Mercedes or a mustang, except I'm pretty sure it's not a mustang. Anyways, Emma hadn't told me how we're meeting at the lab, so I try to pry some answers from her.
"Soooo. Who are we meeting?"
"You'll see." Is all she replies.
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see." She replies once more.
"Why do you think I gained my abilities?"
"Probably some genetic reconstruction after an event of being exposed to something, maybe even a mutation or virus."
Emma seems pretty focused on something else herself. She seems further away from the world, I can barely tell because I've known her for ages. Maybe she's thinking of ways to test me and see what I can do, I'm no psychiatrist but I can tell when some people feel stressed.
