sorry it took so long!!! i have begun dieting and working out and i only have a couple of hours a day to write stories and i have been going through my other stories and what not, but here it is!!!

I was wide awake as soon as I heard my mom shuffle down stairs to get breakfast ready. I didn't bother with my appearance as I headed down stairs.

"Dam it!" my mom growled closing the fridge.

"What's wrong?"

Mom yelped whipping around with a hand on her chest then sighed, "Don't sneak up on me! You and your father!" she scolded and I snickered. She was human she couldn't hear my footsteps but it was still fun to sneak up on her.

"So what was the 'dam it' for?" I wondered sitting on the counter.

She sighed irritated, "We don't have any flour, I was planning on making some waffles or something for your father and you but I can't find the flour!" mom glared at the cabinets in the house.

I shrugged, "Make something else." I offered.

She crossed her arms like a child, "No, I want to make waffles." She pouted and my dad came down stairs seeing mom upset.

He was instantly at her side wrapping his arms around her, "What's wrong?" he kissed her forehead and she blew out a breath of air.

"I can't find the stupid flour to make stupid pancakes." My mom made me laugh, when she was upset she acted like a teenager.

Dad chuckled at her behavior and pulled her to his chest, "Just make Grace go get some."

My head snapped up, "Hey! I'm not a slave!" I growled at him.

Mom's head snapped up grinning happily, "Grace, my most beloved daughter of all time!" my mother called breaking away from dad to pull me off the counter and hugged me.

"I'm your only daughter." I scowled and she grabbed my face giving me her innocent loving mother smile.

"Won't you make your mommy happy and go get me some flour? I will make some omelets today then tomorrow I will make pancakes." She explained looking excited.

"No, I have to meet up with Josh." I crossed my arms looking away and my mom began pouting and fake crying.

Dad hugged her scowling at me, "Look what you did, you made your mother cry!" he knew she was faking but dad loves her and will always stand by her side.

I groaned, "Fine! But you have to tell josh why I didn't come today!" I pointed a finger at dad glaring."

He just grinned and mom jumped out hugging me as she spun around me, "Yah! Tomorrow I'm making waffles!"

I smacked my forehead, "Mom, stop watching Shrek."

She pouted again, "But-but donkey is cute."

I rolled my eyes waving my hand, "Whatever; so am I running to the store or driving? And I'm going to need money." I told them leaning my hip on the counter.

Mom glanced at dad, "Don't they have flour in this world? Or will she have to go to the human world?"

Human world?! Wait if I go to the human world I could... man thank you mom for being childish! If I go to the human world I can go to that lady and ask about the black chest and-

"Grace?"

I snapped my head to my parents who were giving me looks. I let out a nervous laugh, "Yes?"

Mom held up a 20 and a 10 in dollars, "The twenty is for gas and the 10 is for the flour. Drive safely and no messing around or you will never drive again!" my mom glared at me showing she was serious.
