“Dear its breakfast time.”

I yawned rolling over, “Kay mom!” I called out curling up, “Your father is going to eat it all if you don't hurry up!” she called and I jumped up jogging out of the room.

She laughed as I passed her going down the stairs. She passed me the plate and I smiled eating the food happily.

I reached to get my drink when yesterday’s memories flashed to mind. That woman tore at my arm… that guy lying in the coffin like thing… she called him the prince… was he the prince that died? In the journal… the journal I need to finish reading the journal.

“Grace?”

I looked up pulling my hand back with my drink, “Yah?” I took a sip and saw mom give dad a look.

“Are you alright? I mean you were spacing out there for a couple of moments.” She told me concerned.

I smiled, “I'm fine, just thinking about stuff. So how was Josh? Did he manage without me?” I asked changing the subject.

Dad nodded, “Yep, he even came outside to watch our practice. He wants to shift and train with us.” He laughed shaking his head, “Little bugger is persistent though.”

I smiled eating; soon we finished and headed out, “You ready to go?”

I nodded thinking, “Oh wait a second I have to grab something.” I told him running up to my room.

I grabbed the journal from my night stand and saw the chest… I put it under my bed before jogging down stairs.

“Ok I'm good.”

Dad went ahead and shifted while I walked and began to read the journal again.

“I could heard the prince yelling at the king to leave the girl alone… I knew she wasn’t asleep because I secretly told her there were drugs in there… I feel so bad for her… soon the king left and I could hear them talking down the hall but she suddenly freaked out. I went into the room and checked what was wrong with him. He went into a coma like state that happens when they have almost no blood left.”

I walked around a few trees until there was a straight away so I didn't crash into anything while I walked.

“I came back the next day and found that he was still asleep. I could see she truly cared of the prince. Sometimes I would peak in and see her with such a sad face on it would make me want to cry.”

“The next day I was ordered to wake up the prince with some of her blood. It was to make him starve for the last few days. I took her blood injecting it into him to wake him up; when he woke up I was terrified and left quickly. You never go around a vampire that is in starvation mode. They are monsters with no thoughts or feelings. You could even kill the ones you love if you were a feral vampire.”

“She was crying today… she looked truly frightened of the prince at that moment… at one point she started begging someone to help her but I knew I couldn't. I wish I could but I would be killed before I had a chance to help.”

“She has been asleep for two days, it was probably due to shock or something but she finally woke up… I fed her and she cried when I left.”

“The whole next night she watched him and just cried. Every time I came to check on her she was crying softly. When we came to bathe and clean up I saw she had stopped crying… she looked as if she was ready to die even if it was a sad death.

“I followed behind her as they took her upstairs to the throne room where she was-

“Ouch!” I rubbed my face glaring at the tree.
