Ha ha! I uploaded this in the middle of the strictest class ever, we aren't even allowed to have our iPods, SKILLZ
*Vic's POV*
I step out of the car and place Cope gently in the stroller. Her eyes were wide open and see was taking in her all new surroundings.
I hear Kellin come up behind me, probably trying to scare me.
"Hey." I say before turning to face him.
"F*ck! Even can I get this thing off!" Kellin yells as his cheeks go red with fury. Geez, even when he was mad he was hot.
"How about I book you an appointment for tomorrow at the doctors?" I place my hand on his back instantly soothing him.
"Thanks." He says and plants a quick kiss on my cheek.
With one hand pushing Cope and the other on Kellin's back we walk into the grocery store. And in that moment I felt like we were a family.
After a couple minutes of navigating like blind rats in a maze we eventually find the baby isle.
"Ooh! Look at all this cool stuff!" Kellin screeches excitedly and hobbles of with his crutches clattering on the floor.
I sigh and start looking at all the biz-zillion different brands, sizes, flavours, and types of baby formula. Like SERIOUSLY?! How much does a tiny thing need? All you need is just one thing, they should just all be the same. How am I supposed to know what to buy?
I feel a light tap on my shoulder and turn around expecting it to be Kellin, but instead I was a young woman that looked around 25 with a little girl attached to her hip.
"You look a little confused. Do you need some help?" She offers kindly.
"Sure. I'm a little lost."
"First kid huh?" She chuckles. "How old is she?"
"5 months."
"Alright..." She turns to the shelves and scours for the right one.
A hand slowly creeps up my back and I blush. Sure enough Kellin was behind me with an undeniably sexy smirk. I couldn't resist myself and I lean down and bring my lips to his.
"Oh." The woman gasps in surprise and I pull away and face her.
"Got a problem?" I ask sternly.
She quickly composed herself. "No, not at all. It's just that you didn't strike me as gay."
"Is something wrong with being gay?" Kellin demands in an un-threatening way that was probably indeed meant to be threatening.
She laughs. "Nothing's wrong with being gay. I like your attitude though, your always willing to stand up for yourself. Anyway, you should meet someone."
I see her turn around and call out to another woman and she walks towards us.
"Guys, I'd like you to meet my wife Samantha." They both smile bright as they take each others hands.
"Awe." Kellin coos.
"How long have you been together?" I ask curiously.
"About 4 years." Samantha says obviously proud and plants a kiss on her cheek. "Anyway, we best be going, see you around."
"Bye, and thanks for the help. We have a serious lack of lactating breasts in our house." I laugh.
They both chuckle and wave as they walk off.
"They were so cute." Kellin smiles widely at me. "Hopefully we'll be as cute as them some day."
I cup his chin in my hands. "I think we're almost there." I say as I kiss his lips gently.
"Maybe." Kellin licks his lips.
"Anyway, I found the perfect shirt for Cope." He holds it up.
It was a plain black T-shirt and with big bold letters it read 'I like the singer better'
"That my friend, is perfect."
Kellin beams. "I know I am."
I playfully hit his shoulder. "Lets just pay for this stuff and head home."
•••
By the time we got home the sun was setting leaving the sky painted a pinky orange.
Kellin's hair was all ruffled from the seat and Cope was sleeping I'm the back. It's crazy how much a baby can sleep and still be tired.
I unbuckle my seat belt and lean over the seat and scooping little sleeping beauty into my arms. She stored slightly but then nuzzled close to me.
"She likes you." Kellin looks at me. "A lot, I can tell."
Well, I guess I'm doing something in the parenting book right then. "Thanks."
"Don't be thanking me, I should be thanking you."
"Why?"
"Copeland was a really fussy baby and would never stop crying and would always scream at the top of her lungs, but ever since you and I have been taking care of her she barely makes a peep anymore." He explains.
"Really?" I ask surprised by my new found knowledge.
He nods. "Don't worry, I like you too."
"Phew!" I pretend to wipe sweat of my forehead. "I was worried there for a second that you didn't like me."
"Lets just get inside." Kellin rolls his eyes and opens the door.
I shift Cope to one arm and grab the grocery bag in the other hand and I easily catch up to my lover.
When we get to the front door I have to set down the bag careful not to drop the tiny life form and then dig in my pockets for the key and them unlock the lock the lock all with one hand. Now I know why mothers always complain all the time.
I toss the grocery bag on the couch. "Should we just put her straight to sleep?" I ask.
"Ya. It was a long day for her, you just need to change her diaper, put her in her pyjamas and then place her in the crib." He gives me all the details as he lets out a long yawn and rubs his eyes.
"Geez. It's not even that late." I laugh. "But you should go to bed, I'll be there soon okay?" I kiss the top of his head like mother to son.
"Kay."
I head upstairs to her room and place the still sleeping Cope on her change table.
I sigh knowing that I shouldn't wake her up. So instead I skillfully remove her clothes and diaper without a sound.
Her pyjamas were already laid out thanks to my handsome boyfriend so all I had to do was carefully dress her.
When I go to pick her up her eyes snap open and just as she starts to let out a scream I whisper "darling, it'll be okay." And I watch as the corners of her mouth tilt upwards and eyelids flutter closed.
Ya, I guess you could call me a superhero.
Finally I manage to put her to sleep on her crib and I close her door behind me.
I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach when I realized that tonight would be the first night that Kellin and I would sleep together in OUR bed.
I walk in and see the faint glow of a phone casting over Kellin's drowsy face.
I silently strip down to my underwear.
At least I'm not like Tony and sleep naked, Jack's probably happy about that though. Hmm...I wonder how there relationships working out.
"Get in the bed dumb-a**." Kellin whispers loudly.
I take a few steps back and then get a running jump onto the bed. Kellin lets out a squeal.
"You know I'm glad that you're mine right?" I tackle him so he was underneath me.
"Yep." He pops the 'p'. "did you know I've never had sex with a guy before? I guess that still makes me a virgin in your eyes then huh?" Kellin wiggles his eyebrows.
"Nobody dies a virgin, life f*cks us all." I state.
"Kurt Cobain?" He guesses.
I lean down and kiss him firmly on the lips. "You know it baby."

I was actually going to stop this chapter a third of the way then I'm all like "YOLO! I'll keep writing and see where It leads." It lead to a longer chapter.
The person that asked the best question was...xXMCRxxBVBXx's "Do you remember the first band you liked?" She got a dedication and a follow because that question actually had a lot of personal meaning to me.
