Chapter 23 - Dada

Vic's POV

"Is Copeland still sleeping?" I ask as I grab a box of cereal and look at the time, 10:45 AM.

Kellin looks up from his phone. "Yeah, she had a rough night last night. I think she caught a cold or something."

Awe, my little princess is sick...

"Have you been on twitter lately?" He asks me with a smile on his face.

I think back to the last time I tweeted something. Maybe about a week ago? "No I haven't, did I miss something?"

"What!?" Kellin yells probably forgetting all about the sleeping baby upstairs. "Well then get over here, I have something to show you!"

I stand up and walk over to the other side of the table, picking him up easily and setting him back down on my lap.

Kellin blushes slightly making him look absolutely adorable, earning him a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"What'd you want to show me?"

"Oh yeah!" He exclaims and quickly unlocks his phone and starts scrolling down his Twitter feed.

He stops when he see's a photo tweeted by Tony a couple days ago and hands it to me.

I take a long look at it and smile widely. "Awe! That's so cute!" I coo.

It was a photo of Jack and himself kissing in front of a sunset -cheesy, I know- with the caption 'best boyfriend ever!'

I can't believe they came out already, I'm proud of them.

Kellin turns around so he was facing me but also straddling me, not that I'm complaining and kisses me lightly on the lips. "Nobody is as lovely as you." He whispers.

My heart flutters at his words and I couldn't stop myself from kissing him again, but just as I brought my hands to his waist I was interrupted by a loud cough.

Kellin jumps off of me in surprise and I look up to see Mike, Jaime, Tony, Jack, Jesse, Gabe, and Justin watching us with matching looks of amusement.

"What the f**k are you guys all doing here!?" I yell in confusion and excitement, running up to them and giving everyone a hug.

"Am I not aloud to visit my big bro?" Mike asks me.

"You guys just couldn't stay away from me, huh?" Kellin smirks and gives everyone else a hug as well.

"Yeah, we missed watching you two make out." Justin says sarcastically as I hear a faint cry.

"Just one sec, I'll be right back." I yell whilst running upstairs and into Cope's room. Sure enough she was balling her eyes out so I carefully pick her up in my arms and rock her back and forth, singing while doing so.

She starts to calm down so I place her on her change table to change her diaper and get her dressed.

I rummage around her drawers till I find the shirt I was looking for. It was the somewhat new one that we got when we met those lovely two girls at the store that read 'I like the singer better' might as well rub it in everyone else's face.

Copeland reaches out her tiny arms to me clearly wanting to be picked up so I do just that and carry her downstairs for some food.

I walk into the kitchen and set her into her high-chair.

Arms wrap around my waist from behind. "Thanks for getting her." I could tell it was Kellin because he kisses me on the neck.

"You're welcome."

"Ugh. Guys get a room." Justin yells playfully and starts digging through our fridge.

Everyone else follows, making a line to the fridge. "Don't blame us, we just drove for hours without stopping for any food." Jack shrugs and snakes his arm around Tony's waist.

"You two are so cute!" I gush.

Tony blushes and Jack laughs "I know." And places a kiss on the top of his head.

I finish up the bottle I was making and walk over to the patiently sitting Cope that was cooing away.

Gabe comes up beside me. "Can I feed her?"

"Sure you can, just let me get her out." I say while carefully picking her up out of the chair.

Gabe chuckle pointing at Copeland. "I disapprove of her shirt."

Kellin yells from the table where everyone was sitting "You know it's true baby!"

I roll my eyes and hand Cope towards Gabe but just as I do so she starts screaming and pushing him away like he was an infected zombie or something.

I pull her into my chest and stroke her hair instantly calming her down and what happened next surprised us all.

"Dada." Copeland coos as she reaches out and touches my cheek.

Oh. My. God.

"Was that her first word?" Gabe asks quietly. I nod my head and he grins.

"Kellin!" He yells. "Cope just said her first word!"

I watch as Kellin gets up and runs towards us excitedly. "What did she say?"

"She called me dada." I whisper in disbelief.

"Awe! thats so cute." He pulls both of us into a bear hug and I kiss him sweetly.
