"Okay, now," I say as I lean over the battle map, marking the positions of the Greyfangs and of the Goldforge clans. "Where should we attack next? We have to act fast. They're approaching fast! Come on people, we saw them! They're coming! Wake UP!" I snapped in front of your face to wake you, eventually having to shake you. "Get up, Reader, I mean, come on! We nearly died!" Once I was satisfied, I continued. "They destroyed Reader's home. There were people that were in there. People that are DEAD now, thanks to the Greyfangs!" I immediately covered my mouth at the sight of the hurt expression on your face. "My God, I am so sorry, Reader. I should have told you. I never meant for you to find out like this." I tried to pull you into a hug, but you refused and stalked out, slamming the door behind you. "No, wait!" I ran after you, eventually finding you on the floor of your room, sobbing. I knocked softly and entered. "I am so, so sorry..." I wrapped my arms around you with no refusal. Soon, your head was on my shoulder as I held you firmly but kindly. "It's alright," I murmured to you. "They're in a better place now...No more pain..." Ever the tired one, you fell asleep in my arms, so I brought you to your bed, tucking you in with a peck in the cheek.
