Sounds of a whimpering girl resonated through the old unused storage room. Little light shone through, yet enough to lit up the stuffed space to capture her desperate face and movements. Her struggling actions were repressed and begging murmurs were ignored.
"Please...don't." Her voice was shivering, trembling from the growing fear she was feeling. Her eyes shaking, with the threatening sound of the shaving device nearing her. "I really won't do it again!"
"We've warned you multiple times, didn't we?" The other girl, Seolji, dangerously swung around the electric shaver in the air, almost playing with it as if it were a toy. Seolji smiled sadistically, her eyes contained no sympathy. Instead, they looked death, lifeless and numb. The pain she felt back then, she was going to make sure to return those feelings and make her experience the same.
She was now holding the clippers dangerously close to the girl's head. One wrong move and a piece of her hair would be gone. Her face paled upon seeing how close the clippers were, tears brimmed in her eyes as she realized how helpless she was.
"Please don't! I was wrong. I really was wrong. I'll be sure to never make it happen again. Please, I'm really begging you." She was crying at this point, genuine tears left her eyes for the first time. It was a bitter sight to see.
"Then beg." Seolji's ice-cold voice answered in return. She kicked the broken chair's leg, making the girl fall along with it. "Beg for your life, I tell you. Because I'll make sure it won't be the same again."Seolji had grabbed her by the collar and screamed in her ear. "I'll make sure you will never do it again."
After those spoken words, Seolji turned the trimmer on, making her shake in fear while the twins kept her planted to the ground. She tried to resist by kicking the others away and avoid the shaver that was nearing her, but the four arms were stronger than her, keeping her into place.
"Seolji!" She shouted as loud as she could, hoping someone would find her and save her.
"Don't say my name with that filthy mouth of yours." She looked disgusted by her and used her free hand to slap her harshly in the face. The sharp sound resonated through the room, causing a dead silence. The girl looked shocked, her eyes rounded in horror before pathetic tears left her eyes. Hope was slowly draining out of her, and she could only see the end.
I waited. Waited for the end to come, her end.
The pity I had for her was non-existent. The only thing that was left, was wonder.
Was this all worth it? Was something I wanted to ask. The question had been deeply engraved in my mind from the start. Seeing her only made me grow colder. I just didn't feel it, the remorse for the cruel actions we did.
In the end, it was all just her own fault.
She should have stopped when we hinted her to. She shouldn't have been selfish and should have just listened to us obediently. Yet, she didn't and made herself end up in the situation that is occuring now. All her wrongdoings were going to come back to her. And that, was what she truly deserved.
"I'll make sure that no boy will look into your direction again." Seolji grinned slyly, her hands trembling with excitement.
I noticed the girl's face paling further, her arms losing strength. And her words turn into an indecipherable whisper. She lowered her head, letting go of the hope she possibly still had left and covered her face. She hid behind the curtain of her hair, to make her unrecognizable in the film Kyungmi was preparing.
Kyungmi grinned, her eyes gleaming with content as her phone recorded the girl's hopeless state. Soft sobs left the girl's mouth, for help that did not came to her.
