Music beamed through the room, and heavenly voices echoed through our ears as both Seungkwan and DK were singing 'Santa, tell me' loudly in the karaoke room. The Christmas lights and decorations created a warm and nice cozy feeling, making the mood in the room extra good. Everyone was being social and seemed to enjoy themselves. Everything seemed great, for now.

We had managed to lure Seventeen to come with us by calling it a welcome party. They obviously wouldn't come if it were a party with just the five of us, so we had invited the rest of the class to make everything look normal. Obviously, Chorim was not invited since she was bound to ruin everything.

"Where's Chorim?" Jeonghan had asked about her cousin as he had seen her nowhere in the room. "She couldn't come because she was busy." Mina then innocently answered him.

"With what?" He frowned as did not seem to trust her fully.

"With...with some extra schoolwork. She is part of the student council after all, so compared to us she has much more work to do. That's why she couldn't come." It was partly the truth, Chorim did join the student council but was actually free today.

Jeonghan narrowed his eyes at her, examining her expression. Mina only returned him the same stern look, not letting him find a single trace of it being a lie. He then just let it go as he knew she wasn't easy to read and joined the others.

I then saw Kyungmi enter with a big plateau of drinks. The way she carried them all, was too skeptical to me. Normally, the drinks wrre brought by the waiter and not herself. "What's that?" I asked as I noticed the suspicious looking drinks in Kyungmi's hands.

"What do you mean, it's apple juice, can't you see?" That was obviously not apple juice.

I looked at her and shook my head. "It's beer isn't it."

"I don't know what you're talking about." She tried acting clueless, knowing I wouldn't fall for it.

I sighed. "Just don't feed it to the minors." I said while pointing at Dino, Vernon and Seungkwan.

"Alright." She nodded, trying to please me. "It's really apple juice by the way." She then leaned in my ear. "Just with some alcohol added to it."

It didn't surprise me at all since it hadn't been the first time they had done this. I just hoped that everything would end well.

I sat on the couch next to Wonwoo. I was worried, for him. Even though, she had asked me to help me. She didn't tell me her plan. "You'll see it yourself." She had told me. It was too vague and made me feel so restless that I could only calm my nerves down by gulping down some of the apple juice she had placed on the table.

I pinched in Wonwoo's hand for assurance as we both hid them behind our backs. He gently held my hand ans sneaked a glance shortly. A small smile was plastered on my face, calming me down just by a little bit. Everything was going to be fine, I told myself.

"Let's play some games shall we?" Rina suddenly suggested as she placed the shot glasses in the middle of the table. "Don't worry, we'll only be playing with juice, no soju or beer." She assured them as the worried and hesitant looks on their faces were visible.

"Let's start. Who will be the first one to go?" She wondered while scanning the whole room full of students.

"I know, let's decide it through this." She took out a glass bottle and started spinning. I instantly recognised it. It was the one they had rigged and always used for occasions like these. It was very simple to use. Through a magnet, they had always control over who would be chosen.

I immediately knew who their first victim would be: Wonwoo.

The bottle soun three rounds and then slowed down, pointing to Wonwoo as I had expected.
