From my feet I looked up. My eyes travelled to the small sign next to the plain white door, 'infirmary' it read. I internally groaned and hit myself on the head. How did I end up coming here?
Was I that worried about him or did I just have so little trust in Chorim. It was probably the latter since I never trusted her for a single bit.
I sighed and carefully reached for the door handle. I was already there anyway, so checking them wouldn't cause any harm would it?
Peeking through the small creek I had created by opening the door a bit, I saw two persons. One laid weakly on the bed while the other placed a small wet towel on his forehead.
I saw the short-haired girl with black hair turn her head upon hearing me. A surprised expression was plastered on her face as she saw it was me.
"Why are you here? I thought you were busy playing with that emo boy." She stated dryly.
I ignored the question and let myself inside. "I thought having Taehyung was enough for you."
"He is, we're still together. At least, me and Taehyung are real unlike you two." She remarked, a sly smile was visible.
"Yes, probably as real as your plastic-looking face." I shot back, unamused.
"Tsch, whatever. At least, I'm having a good relationship, a happy one." A stolen one, that was for sure.
"But, not for long." I smirked. "Do you really think Seolji will just wait and do nothing? Soon, you will regret it."
"What can you do? Bully me more, get me expelled from this school? It won't break our relationship, only harm your reputation more."
"Reputation, I don't care about that. If any of us did, we wouldn't be here now. You of all should know that." I replied with crossed arms. "So tell me, why are you here." I got straight to the point, not feeling like chatting about useless things with her anymore.
"What do you mean. I'm just taking of this poor boy you rejected." She brushed his blonde strands as he was still sleeping deeply and oblivous to our conversation.
What? "I didn't reject anyone." I answered, not understanding a single bit of her words.
"Hm, maybe not yet. But, I know that in the end you'll hurt both them. And then I'll be there waiting, healing the scars you've caused." She talked as if she everything. She didn't. If it went wrong, I would fix it myself.
"That won't happen. I'll make sure of it. Just keep yourself busy with Taehyung and leave the rest alone."
"Don't worry, I still like Taehyung." She assured me shortly. "But..." Her tone changed for a split second. "I won't stay still if you take him away from me."
At that moment, I heard Soonyoung shuffle.
Before he woke up fully, I stood up in panic and quickly left the room. The restlessness within me was more vivid than ever as I couldn't answer her back.

I stared at the chocolate bar, lifelessly. For an unknown and strange reason, my appetite that always lasted forever, was gone. Was Chorim serious about her words or simply just toying with me? It had always been difficult to read her and know what went through her mind. How else, was she able to backstab us all?
The five of us currently sat at the rooftop, hanging around since we had nowhere to go to.
"Let's throw a Christmas party." I heard one of my friends suddenly say, instantly catching my attention. I shifted my eyes to Kyungmi and hoped I had imagined the words I had never expected her to mention.
"Sorry, but I might have misheard you. What did you say?"
"A Christmas party, let's hold one." She repeated with a bothered look as she had to repeat herself.
"Who are you and what did you do to Kyungmi?" I pointed the chocolate bar at her accusingly.
She rolled her eyes at my reaction and crossed her arms. "I'm being serious here."
"So am I." Kyungmi hated cringy things like that, and so did the rest of us. We almost never hung out on such days and were just busy with our own things most of the time. They were often on random dates with the most interesting boys they could find and ripped them off their money, so times when we spend it together were really rare.
"There must probably be a reason behind it." I reasoned, not trusting her fully.
"You don't really trust me do you."
"Not really." I answered honestly.
"Good, because you're right. The party isn't just for the five of us."
"You mean...?" Seventeen?
"Seventeen, of course."
So she was still targeting Wonwoo? "Why?"
"Isn't it obvious? Jeon Wonwoo, I'll make him mine."
"Do you really think that will be so easy?"
"Of course, it always has been." She said. She turned her head to me. It was then that I noticed her change in expression. Suspicion, was written all over her face. "It's the first time you've doubted me."
"Oh. Really?" Fuck, she was right. I never did.
"Don't tell me you also like him."
I do. "I don't know what you're talking about." I tried acting clueless, hoping she wouldn't find out.
"Hm, alright. It's only because I know you can't that I believe you. I've claimed him after all." It was that fact, that saddened me deeply. We claimed boys for a reason, not letting history repeat itself again.
Never did I mind that rule more than now.
"Are you serious about him this time?" I carefully asked. "Since he's an idol after all."
"Even if he was the president of this country, I wouldn't care. He's just my new...toy." My stomach turned upon hearing that.
She sounded serious, with no single hint of amusement. I didn't want Wonwoo to end up like that. I had to do something, but what could I possibly do?
"You'll help me right?" She asked, pressuring me even further.
I hesitated. I looked her once in the eyes again. Her unwavering look, caused me to answer in a haste.
"I will."
