I was standing in front of the bus stop, impatiently tapping on the ground with my feet as I still saw no sight of the bus. I constantly looked on my phone, hoping the time would tick faster.
Ten minutes, was how much it took to reach here, yet it seemed too long for me. I tried calming my nerves down by assuring myself that my grandma was alright, but it didn't help. I was worried sick for her. What if she was in a serious condition?
I would cry, that was for sure.
All of sudden, a pair of arms were slung over my shoulder, causing me to shriek in surprise and back away.
A pervert?
Defensively, I around and slung my arm out, ready to hit the person with my heavy schoolbag. However, as soon I recognised the person, I tried to stop myself. Yet, it was too late and it had already hit his face, causing him to fall onto the ground.
"Soonyoung?" I called, baffled with how far he had followed me.
He laid still on the dirty ground for a few seconds before he finally reacted.
"Aewwrriii." He slurred his words as he got up with much difficulty and slumped to my side like a zombie.
He limped to me, occasionally tumbling over his own feet and getting up again. He sprawled his arms over me once finally reached me and leaned against me, smiling goofily with his eyes disappearing and a bright red face.
The heavy smell of alcohol entered my nostrils from such a distance and without a thought I pushed him away too roughly, causing him to lose his balance. As he was about to fall, I quickly had to catch him. Yet, when I did, I couldn't hold his weight, causing me to fall instead, with him landing on top of me.
"Youwe so cwute." He grinned while grabbing my cheeks and squishing them in a playful way.
'Yaw, stwop it." I mumbled as he kept touching my face. "Swoonyoung!" I hissed slowly becoming annoyed, trying to shove him off me, with no luck since he was quite heavy.
I widened my eyes, horrified, as I slowly saw him come closer with puckered lips and all. I closed my eyes, quickly moving my head to the side to avoid his kiss. Just on time, I felt his head slide past me and come in contact with the floor as he whined in pain when his lips were dirtied.
"Are you okay?" I worriedly asked while I rolled him to the side as he held his face.
Tears were streaming down his eyes, and they twinkled like one of a puppy's as he looked at me. His look instantly made me feel extremely guilty and dig in my bag for some napkins. Once I found a small package, I wiped his face clean and helped him get up.
"I'll call Wonwoo." I sighed as he stood there like a lost hamster.
Pulling my phone out, I dialled his number. It rung three times, I was about to speak yet stopped when I realised it was his own spoken voicemail. He had turned his phone off during such a critical time. And he happened to be the only one of whom I had the phone number off. Calling my friends was no use either, no one picked up, probably too busy with their own business.
"Aishh, what am I supposed to do with you?" I messed my hair, frustrated and clueless of what to do. And to make it worse, the bus was slowly arriving.
The bus driver was already shooting me a look of impatience as I stood there for minutes, contemplating whether to abandon him or not.
"Miss, the bus is leaving if you do not step inside right now." He stated as he looked at me in all seriousness. I then shifted my gaze from him to Soonyoung repeatedly, deep in thought until I reached a decision.
