if i knew what events
would happen during that day,
i would have stayed in bed
pretended to be sick
even hide

but i didn't
so,
as i walked to school that day
fate must have been laughing

as school faded into sight
so did you
out of all the things
that would happen that day
never did i think you
would see me

so i kept my head down
and tried to walk straight past you
your friend grabbed my arm
as i tried to ignore you

your friend: where are you going? no one wants you near us
me: get of me
your friend: don't order me about whale.

i thought it couldn't get worse,
but as always
it did
you joined in
you: pig. you really need a diet

me: leave me alone
you: that will be hard- you are so big and fat, you're hard to miss

i turned away to hide
the small tear
running down my cheek

your friend: you're not just a waste of space, you're a huge one

i chose the worse,
easier escape
i ran away
