Ashley's P.O.V.

I swear if Lea makes me go into more clothing store I'm gonna hang myself with a scarf. I tapped my doc martin clad foot waiting outside of yet another dressing room. I understand that Ricky's here for her birthday and she wants to look good for him, but I'm just stressing so much about seeing Chris again. She just had to tell me right before we went inside the mall, so I haven't been the sweetest girl to other people, I just can't be mean to Aalayah though and that's only because its not in my nature. 

"Found one!" She cheered jumping out of the dressing room in a short red and black dress. The black part stopped almost before her hips and buttoned up to her ribs. The upper half almost looked like a strapless bright red bra with lacy trimming.

"Wow I would figure that you would only wear something like that in the bedroom, Ricky doesn't stand a  chance." I remarked with wide eyes

She laughed, "That's the point."

I shook my head laughing too before I asked, "Are we done now?"

"Nope I need some shoes." She states before heading back into the dressing room. 

I let out a sigh, my mind still racing about what might happen tonight, so I decided to look around Blackheart's store for some shoes for Lea. I finally found a really cute pair of cherry red stilettos and I made my way back to her changing room, knocking on the door.

"What?' She called happily.

"Try these on, I think they'll go great with your outfit."

She opened the door and a wide smile appeared on her face as she cheered, "Holy shit those will go perfectly!"

She quickly put the shoes on and modeled in front the floor length mirror. "Thanks Ash!"

I chuckled, "Not a problem."

After she changed back in her normal clothes and bought the outfits along with the heels we finally left the mall. I nervously tapped a beat on my steering wheel as we headed back to Aalayah's house even though we had hours to go before we all had to meet up my nerves were still eating me alive. 

"Ashley calm down, you act like something bad is going to happen, why won't you just tell me what he said to you that day?"

I shook my head quickly and replied, "He couldn't have meant what he said, so it doesn't really matter."

She rolled her eyes and muttered, "You guys just need to get it over with and fuck already."

"What?!" I yelled and burst out laughing.

Thankfully we were pulling in her driveway at this point, otherwise I might have wreaked. 

"Okay Ash chill out it was a joke, but jeez you two are ridiculous."

It took me a minute to catch my breath as we made our way inside. "Are you even nervous at all?"

She shrugged, "A bit, but not enough to let it bother me. You know if what you say is true about Chris not meaning whatever he told you, then you shouldn't be stressing out now should you?"
