Kenny drove up in his Chevrolet Camaro, showing off as usual. We ended high school roughly 3 years ago, but I didn't get into the college I wanted. That's when Kenny showed up at my house and offered me a job, working with his dads company. His dad was a very rich man that owned a whole chain of fast food restaurants across the US. Me and Kenny were both supervisors, working in the same restaurant. It was an easy job with a big pay, but sometimes, especially when customers became very vocal and started complaining, the whole thing could be a little bit too much and I would go home with headaches from all the shouting.

"Whad'ya think?" Kenny's voice had too much boasting in it, I just inspected the car and ignored his tone.

"Yeah, nice" I nodded, liking the colour of his car. He had gone for black, with two parallel racing stripes across the car, in white.

"Work has been a pain lately, so many people have been complaining. I think we might have to look to hire new people and change our staff" Kenny suggested as I hopped into the passenger seat.

"Well, it is a fast food restaurant, so we are always bound to get trouble. We just need to hold a staff meeting and warn everyone, try and make things okay again" I replied, opening the glove box. I was happy to see a pack of chewing gum and I took a piece without asking. Kenny didn't say anything as he also took one, before I shut it.

"Well, we are heading over their right now, so if you want I will handle the meeting while you quickly make sure there are no customers around so you can quickly lock up"

"Sounds like a plan" I nodded, just as Kenny revved up the engine and sped off, the engine booming through the streets as we made our way to work.

It didn't take long before we was finally parked up around the back of the restaurant. I got out and headed round to the front, while Kenny went through the staff entrance.

"Ok, we are having an emergency staff meeting and I will need all customers to leave. I am sorry for the inconvenience" I said, trying my best to be polite. A few murmurs came from different sides of the restaurant, but everyone eventually left. Kenny collected the staff and then they went into the back room.

A few minutes passed and a girl about my age walked in, a look of confusion on her face. I was sat casually on the table opposite the door and my eyes instantly fell over her. She looked so beautiful. Her light brown hair in a ponytail, yet it still hung down her back. How long must her hair be? Her amazing, sparkling hazel eyes stared back at me and I came back to planet Earth at that moment.

"Oh, uh-sorry, we are closed for the moment" I finally recovered, mesmerized by this girl. Why was someone like this in a fast food restaurant?

"I was hoping for some fries too" She frowned, looking clearly upset. I couldn't leave someone like that sad, I actually felt a random urge to make her happy, like it would somehow make us friends.

"I'll make you some" I offered. She stopped at the door and turned around.

"But, you're closed? And you look like a supervisor, so you probably can't make fries" She said bluntly, holding the door handle and preparing to leave.

"No need to be so blunt" I huffed, before hopping of the table. "Who cares if we are closed, I can make some pretty mean fries"

She smiled and then walked past me, to the counter. "In that case, surprise me"

Halfway through preparing the fries, the point were I had to do nothing but wait, I turned to the girl to try and make some more conversation.

"So, uh, what is someone like you doing here?" I asked, hoping I wasn't coming off as rude. She frowned and I felt so stupid.
