1 Month Before The Reunion...

(Serena)

I looked down at Ash in the bed. He was sleeping soundly, which was no surprise considering he was studying all night, which made a change from his usual ways. I swung open the curtains, revealing the sunlight that was hiding behind them and opened the window slightly. This made Ash roll over, so the sun wasn't in his eyes.

"Wake up, lazy" I picked up my pillow and threw it at him. He shrugged it onto the floor and groaned.

"I'm tired, I think I'll sleep in today" Ash began to fall asleep again, but I wasn't going to let him.

"Guess you'll have to skip breakfast then" I shrugged, stepping into the kitchen.

Going to the same college took a load of effort. Ash only just managed to make it and so did our relationship. The bumpy rides we had led us to this moment and we was almost going to finish our first year in college. Times have been tough since money is a real problem. Kenny actually gave Ash enough money to buy one of the apartments within the college, not just rent it, we actually own it now. Ash refused his money for almost a week before giving in and then we all parted ways, ready for a new adventure.

"I can't miss breakfast!" Ash was up in an instant, jumping past me and into the fridge. "Damn, we have no OJ left"

"Looks like you will have to go to the store now, too" I patted his shoulder with a grin. "Chop chop"

"Why can't you go? I'll make breakfast" Ash suggested, with a hint of hope in his eyes.

"No, silly. You want the juice, so you have to get the juice" I shook my head and started preparing breakfast, ignoring Ash, who was mumbling under his breath in annoyance.

"Fine" Ash sighed, heading back into the bedroom to get changed.

"I am guessing you want pancakes?" I shouted into the bedroom.

"You know me too well" Ash replied. Well duh.

I started on our breakfast while Ash headed out. I liked how we were living, the set up was nice. We both done everything as equals, whether it was cleaning, shopping or cooking. The only thing that was missing for me was a complete family. But we didn't have time to consider that, we had dreams to follow.

Ash came back in no time, which made me wonder why he moaned anyway. I had breakfast ready so we sat down and ate.

"Stupid test today" Ash moaned. I raised my eyebrow.

"I don't think it is stupid, just do your best like you always do. You got a high score on the practice one and you have been studying loads, you'll nail it" I encouraged him with a smile.

"Thanks for the encouragement" Ash smiled back. "You're not in today, right?"

"Nope, I will be doing some other things today" I shook my head and ate some more of my pancake.

"Well I better head off now, I'll be back later" Ash got up from the table and grabbed his bag.

"See ya later" I got up and kissed him on the cheek before he could head off.

Ash grinned like an idiot and headed out once more

I spent most of the day doing the cleaning, watching TV and just general things. Mondays didn't give me much variety to work with, especially since I had the whole day off from going on the campus.

I was about to go outside when I suddenly got a phone call. The vibration in my pocket instantly caught my attention, so I picked it up and answered the call, seeing the callers name was Dawn, which was surprising.
