Bringing him home

I woke up the next morning, went down stairs and made kaylie and I breakfast. Kaylie walked down stairs. "good morning Aunt Nina." she said "good morning kaylie, did you sleep well?" I asked kaylie "I slept ok." said kaylie "that's good, eat up so we can go up to the hospital." we ate in silence. We finished eating and went up to get changed. We got in the car and drove to the hospital. We were listening to 89X when Bewitched by Blood On The Dance Floor came on. Kaylie and I were singing it. I got my phone out and recorded a video of kaylie singing. I sent it to jayy. we got to the hospital and went up to Ace's room. He was sleeping. "kaylie keep quiet we don't want to wake him up, ok?" I told kaylie "ok aunt Nina." she said whispering we sat in the silent room for a half hour. I was reading and kaylie was playing with her toys. "hey baby." I heard Ace say I looked over at him, his eyes were still half shut. "hey how you feeling?" I asked "better now that you are here." he said "awww even when you are in pain, you still are a sweet heart." I said as I kissed his head. The doctor walked in and asked kaylie and I to wait in the hall while they do their last check up. She walked out and said "he is ready to go home, but he can not move much, he can only drink food, no roof housing. He needs his rest and to stay still for a few more weeks." "ok thanks, I won't let him do anything to harm him self again." I said then walked in the room. Kaylie sat on the chair watching the TV, while Ace and I were in the bathroom trying to get him changed out of the hospital gown and in to real clothes. After that I packed all of his stuff up. The nurse walked Ace in a wheel chair while I carried kaylie and Ace's things to the car. The nurse helped me get him in the truck and showed me how to lift him up and out. We drove home, I got kaylie out first, then had to help Ace out of the car. It don't help that we were in a jacked up truck. I got him out and we went in to the house. We all sat on the couch, watching TV. Ace had his head on my lap because he couldn't sit up, without his ribs hurting. We all feel asleep on the couch. I eventually woke up to my phone ringing. It was jayy he sent me a text saying "omg that is so cute, I miss my little girl." I text back "she misses you to jayy." he didn't text back. I got Ace's head off of my leg. I picked up kaylie and walked her upstairs to her room, then put her in her bed. She didn't even wake up or stir. I woke Ace up and we safely got him off the couch. We went to his room, and he went back to sleep. I walked upstairs to my room and went to bed.
