A Trip Up North

I woke up early the next morning, so I could pack everything in the truck. It was around 9:30 so I started cooking bacon and pancakes for breakfast, Ace decides to be devious and sneak up behind me. He grabbed my waist and hugged me. "good morning babe." he said I sat down the spatula and turned around, I hugged him back and said "morning honey, did you sleep well?" "Best sleep I've had in a long time. How did you sleep?" he said "fantastic." I said laughing, then kissed him. It was one of the most romantic and passionate kisses we have ever had. We stopped when we smelt a burning smell, it was the few pancakes left on the griddle. "way to go, you made me burn the pancakes." I said laughing "sorry babe." he said as he walked to the living room. I finished breakfast, then went and woke up kaylie. It was around 10:00 AM when we finished breakfast, we got dressed then got in the car.  We have about six and half hour drive till we get up to mackinaw. A hour went by of us talking about what were gonna are up there. We drove for another hour and a half, then stopped to get lunch. We got subway, then walked over to the park across the street. We sat there eating and stretching our legs. When we were done we got back in the car, we still have two and a half hours till we are there. Kaylie had fallen asleep after a half hour. Ace was playing games on his phone while I was driving. We started talking about all of the plans for the next few weeks. We are gonna be up north for a few days possibly a week, then we're gonna go back to the house and finish packing all of our stuff, stay the night, then really early the next morning we are going to start driving back down to Oklahoma. Stay there a few days to get all of Ace's stuff around and in order, rent a moving trailer, then head to California. Ohh boy we have a long few weeks ahead of us, but for now we are gonna have fun. Two and a half hours went by fast, we were finally at our hotel. Ace woke up kaylie while I went and checked us in. Kaylie and Ace walked up to me. You would not believe how many people looked at us funny, I laughed and I think Ace flicked some of them off as we walked to our room. We unpacked our stuff, then got in our bathing suits to go to the pool. The pool room was huge, it had a hot tub, a giant pool, a sauna, a outdoor pool area, a kiddy pool, and even a bar. Kaylie was still to young to go in a big pool by herself so she wanted to swim in the kiddy pool. I sat our towels down, Ace decided to grab me by the waist and pick me up. I screamed "NO ACE DON'T THROUGH ME." I was interrupted when he jumped in to the pool with me in his arms. I came back up to find him already across the pool. I swam after him. He stopped when I caught him.  He looked at me and said "what were you saying?" "you are a jerk." I said as I dunked his head under water. He came back up and kissed me. His lips tasted like chlorine. We swam around for a half hour, when kaylie came over to us and said she was Hungry. We got out and went to the room so we could change. We decided we would go to the restaurant in the hotel. We walked in to the restaurant. Everyone stared at us funny, even the waitress. We ordered our food, and sat there talking. Our food finally came, we ate then paid. We walked back up to the room to get changed for bed. Kaylie laid in her bed while Ace and I laid in ours. We watched Disney channel until kaylie fell asleep. Then we eventually fell asleep to.
