Jake creped into the basement as he had heard the sound of crashing bottles. He walked down the hallway and opened the door to Tony's room. The noise continued to the left and he walked past Isabella's room on the right and down the hallway to a closed door. He opened it slowly and peered inside.
He'd never been in this room. There was a refrigerator and a sink to his left. In front of him were rows and rows of wine bottles. He was surprised to find that the room was a wine cellar.
It was cold. Jake shivered. He heard a bottle crash again and a girl yelp. He stepped into one of the rows of wine and walked slowly across the sharp stone floor, hurting his bare feet.
"Where is it, Antonio?" he heard a loud voice boom.
Jake peered through the bottles and saw a dark figure holding a broken bottle to Isabella's throat.
"She's a vampire, you can't kill her like that," he heard Tony's voice say.
Evil laughter filled the room. "She still bleeds. But maybe this will get your attention," the voice said. Isabella cried out.
"No!" Tony yelled.
Jake saw the hand now held a long wooden knife.
"Oh, yes, the old stake through the heart routine still does the trick on vampires, doesn't it, Antonio?" the voice asked with a chuckle.
"Put it down!" Tony said angrily.
"I'll put it down when you tell me where it is!" the voice yelled.
"I don't know what it is!! What do you want?!"
"Ray!" Jake yelled, seeing his friend lying unconscious on the ground.
Tony spun around.
"Jake, stay back!" Tony yelled.
"Ray!" Jake yelled again, seeing a puddle of blood under Ray.
Jake ran to him. He reached him and felt for a pulse. He didn't feel one. "Ray!" he yelled again, shaking his friend.
"Jake, wake up!" Ray answered, his eyes opening.
"What?" Jake asked confused.
"You're dreaming again, wake up!"
Jake struggled and pulled himself awake. Ray was leaning over him concerned. "Oh, thank god, man," Jake grabbed him and hugged him tightly.
"I thought you were done with the nightmares," Raven said with a yawn from the doorway.
Emily and George were also hovering in the doorway.
"Guess not. Man, that was messed up," Jake rubbed his face, trying to erase the images still in his mind.
"Want to talk about it?" Emily asked gently.
"No, god, no," Jake said shaking his head.
Emily walked over to his desk and handed him his sketch pad.
"No, I can't draw it either," Jake didn't dare to take it.
Emily felt the fear from him and dropped the pad on the desk. "It was that bad?"
"Worse."
"Was it the demon?" George asked.
"No, I don't think so. I mean we killed it, right?"
"Well, Tony said we killed it, but not the sender," Raven put in. "Maybe whoever sent it gave you this nightmare."
"I hope so," Jake said, looking at Ray.
